Look at the consolidated list and think a little more broadly.

Is StarTrek a movie or a TV franchise? What about Marvel? Casper? Teen Wolf?

Again, I could be misinterpreting stuff... but this is based on some other stuff I've been told.

Modern and nostalgic, tv and film, divisive for HHN, maybe we’re sleeping on Star Trek? Checks all those boxes imo. Idk how this could be horror but, could make a good looking house. Easy to replicate the characters unlike Rick and Morty or some other properties being discussed, also headline worthy. I could see it.

Could the divisiveness not necessarily be the property, but the way it's presented? A lot of the TV reintroductions/"-quels" that are coming out and are featured on the list we have are essentially using nostalgia for a name to show a different side or story to a property. Are we potentially going to see something that uses a property as a crutch for what is essentially an original house? I think you'd get some people really happy for "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" and *then upset that* it doesn't feature anything from the heavy hitters, but it's technically an IP because it uses his name and likeness.

Essentially what they tried to do with Walking Dead those years where the shtick was "you're following behind the characters, so you'll never see them"?

Hearing speculation about Blade Runner and Star Trek houses reminds me of that “sci-fi” event talked about a few years ago.

I would definitely speculate that whatever is coming has franchise shelf life and, in the next 1/2 year- 2 years, will have some new release. I can’t think of any other reason Universal would double down on something “divisive”.

Honestly this could work. You have the Flood to pull from, the Fall of Reach, New Mombasa, etc.

I don't think it's this, but it could be pretty cool. I'm imagining a modified Pepper's ghost to reveal the cloaked invisible elites then having one bungie (heh) towards you with an energy sword in the next hallway.

Not really a clue game this year. I honestly don’t know what the IP is. I’m legitimately speculating this one.

Kinda love that you speculating along side us.
This new clue really has brought us all together.

Also, the way I see the "clue" is that a lot of those franchises are making a resergence, also lots of talks of them going to different streaming services. This IP may be a classic coming because of a upcoming resergence of a new film or show on a streaming service.

I'll add this one to the list because it got the boot too early.....

I think this could be the year where every IP is a streaming show (not counting Universal Monsters):

Peacock - corporate synergy and in search of relevance
Netflix - Stranger Things, Hill House, something new?
The 50 other streaming services large and small, but no Disney+ / Hulu of course

Not even vaguely shocked It's felt like for a while now that everyone took the hint of "consider it the “Billie” of the year that will tear fans apart" to the extreme. The fanbase is torn on basically every announcement lol. It doesn't mean it's going to suddenly be an action movie property or an animated comedy show or something. Even the Billie house, from all leaks out there, was still going to be very heavily revolving around common horror themes.

Yeah, I feel like Rick and Morty was such a zero to a hundred answer, as interesting as I think it would be.

I’m gonna assume that we haven’t guessed it based on Rookie’s comment, so honestly I’m truly stumped. The only other property I can think of that’s outwardly supposed to be a horror property but is toned down for younger audiences/families that we haven’t mentioned is something like Courage The Cowardly Dog, but that’s something that would have been a headliner a decade ago, not today. Not to keep throwing stuff and hoping it sticks, it’s just the only other idea I got.
