Yeah stopped into the Tribute Store for the first time. Only good designs were the Ghostbusters, Mel’s, and the Batilda shirt. I bought the jacket, yeah $95 but it’s amazing. Picked up the wife the GB tank and me the Mel’s shirt.

I actually really like the merch this year. I realize art is subjective and everyone is entitled to their own taste, but the hate for the designs this year is a little dramatic. I think I bought more this year than in previous years. It's nice to have some color and options. I love the punk aesthetic. As for people not lining up for it..I bought my stuff online.

oddly, the punk aesthetic is not allowed in the park on horror nights which has folks mentioning that they bought merch but that they get turned away when they bring it on another night (stuff w/ cheap chain looking stuff). Go figure!

Sounds like a miscommunication with security. I can't imagine that was the intention when they designed these things.

This is where taking a photo of the merch display to show the uneducated that it came from the park might help.

At the same time, I'm not surprised because the west coast has similar issues with their "bag size/no bag" policy for events like Knott's or HOS. The slap in the face is the parks sell the event branded mini backpacks & whatnot, but guests can't bring them into the event.

I'm not a fan of this years blinky. I like when we got different versions throughout the event.

Lil' Boo the new Walking Dead. HHN fans are very mercurial, it's what's kept the event fresh for over three decades.

This year's merch was very underwhelming. First year I haven't felt the need to buy anything...even the house shirt!

Anyone know if the Eternal Bloodlines shirt/poster is avaliable anywhere? I was at the park the other day and couldn't find either of them in any of the stores. Looked inside IoA too and nothing.

If Universal was smart, they'd keep Lil'Boo locked up somewhere for a few years. I think it's gone overkill now and there doesn't seem to be much interest from the general public.

Bring him back for 35 with other “nostalgia merch”, two years is enough right?

But in all seriousness, I am team Lil boo every year, just don’t go overkill with it please. A few things are fine and should exist every year.

I don't hate Lil'Boo, but I also think having it featured at the event each year (with no real substantial offering to back its presence) is just too much. I love Jack, but I don't want him featured every single year.

At this point I just kinda see lil boo as the HHN version of Earl the squirrel

That’s the way I see them too. He’s Universal’s family friendly Halloween icon. It just so happens that they’re associated with HHN
