The song is "Farwell, So Long" from the Sound of Music. Kind of sad if this the goodbye.

That's pretty shocking if the vault is no more but I have to admit that song when you go to the site did make me laugh.

Apparently, it is......... especially considering we're entering the hottest season of HHN speculation.

But hey --- there's always room at the OU table for you refugee Vaulters out there

Then pull up a chair my friend! :welcome: It's an exciting time for HHN, and we definitely respect and welcome the insight of the Vaulters here......

Yes thank you for the correction, I was half asleep on that one.

Wow thats pretty crazy if the Vault is dead, that just means better discussion over here as I was a Vaulter as well, but have been mainly spending my time over here now, OU is my new home

Any new rumors out yet lately? Its just crazy that the rumor mill is sooooo slow. Maybe this is an after effect of Roddy not being there anymore.

The only new news out right now are the permits being released. Everything else is still nonexistant including the lack of an archive site.

From what I've heard, it's not so much the lack of Roddy causing the delay but TWWoHP because many of the people who create HHN also worked on TWWoHP.

Universal Will release nothing till WWOHP is Up and Running, That was the reason for the Delay last Year with HHN stuff because of the disaster of HRRR. Sorry was never a Vault fan was a member but not a fan of people with no real information going on and on about stuff and bashing HOS.

Yeah, I was never a fan of the HOS bashing either. Haven't been to any of them yet, but I'm a big Halloween fan, and I'm just happy to see more haunts available to everyone. I even enjoy that we have Disney's Not So Scary party for the kids.

I highly recommend making your way over to Howl-O-Scream once during your life. It really is a great event and has certain things that you won't find at HHN. Both are amazing events that shouldn't be passed up before trying. HHN is my favorite however.

Back on topic, does anyone think we'll receive any type of update/news before June 18th?

I loved The Vault but it had been dying and if this is the way they decided to kill it I have utmost respect. Far to often people just let their website grow cob webs.

I guess I don't understand why the Vault went down, period. It had its flaws, but the main site had some great content, information, and memories, and the forums were very much alive with buzz, speculation, discussion... while I love Orlando United so far, I'm going to miss the fully-fledged HHN forum. Why did it die?

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get anything until July. But if the site doesn't change until July, then hopefully they'll skip the archive site and go straight to the teaser site.

Probably money, the site wasn't really making a whole lot of money and in this economy its hard to have a website up just for fun and a hobby.

If that's really the case, I wish Dr. Freak would've made it clear that there were some financial issues going on - I think a lot of members, including me, would've pitched in some $$ to help upkeep on the site... then again, couldn't he have passed development to someone who had the money to keep it up? It really was a fantastic resource.
