Went Last Night

Got on Inisduous around 5 mins after it opened for EA

Waled on Ghost Busters Twice after that and then the line got to 15mins and waited for Quiet Place to open and was done with QP and Monsterous by 6:55 PM.

TCM said 20 mins but was 30 because of express line (so beware around 7 PM line might jump up because of people coming in)

The Weekend was about 15 mins after that, general line was small but express so you know the drill

I didn't hit DE and Bloodlines but both said 15 mins or less and Bloodlines as like 10-15 most the night until I left

I saw Chucky....nothing new same old show and did not talk about the show being cancelled but plugged a dead show

Terror Tram was under 10 mins around 8:40 PM.

Got two great interactions with Edgar Alan Crow, if your out there Edgar thanks for coming up and "chatting" with me twice in the night, your rock.

If I skipped Chucky could have easily hit all hours before 10 PM with general/EA. Chuxky line was easy when it opened but got to 40ish mins after that....not sure how many more times I'll see it if they don't make it more interactive but its the same questions most nights

So following up... went again last night... and same thing. Unless you have Early Entry, you will not be allowed to enter any houses until 7pm.

Confirmed this by talking to two different maze supervisors (DE: DV and Bloodlines). Both said that their superiors have informed them that even though their mazes open at 6:30 and 6:45 respectively, and are not "officially" on the Early Entry list, general admissions cannot even enter the queue until 7pm.

The DE: DV supervior even said he remembered me from last night, and while I can understand that it may not be his decision, he was pretty much a jerk in delivering the news and not apologetic at all, even though this is reversing a policy that has been otherwise for well over a decade or more now. They did let me into the Bloodlines queue early (prior to 7), but the supervisor there did admit they were not supposed to, and said the event is "evolving" and not everyone may yet be on the same page (especially when I mentioned that Monstrus let us in early). She was at least nicer about this news.

So just be warned: at least on paper, no GA tickets are supposed to be allowed into ANY maze until 7pm (and I noticed that is now printed directly on the wristband), but you may get lucky if that particular maze is not enforcing it or just don't notice. Honestly, I think this sucks and is totally a money grab to essentially force you to buy Early Entry.

If this policy continues, I don't really foresee myself getting FFP next year, because unless you can go/stay very, very late at night, there's not much value in it anymore.

I went last night. Didn’t do early access. Got to the gate around 5 ish I think and decided to wait outside Wizarding World to do Insidious and GB first. We were among the first of the GA to go into the Insidious queue and waited only about 25 min when it was advertised 50. GB was five min.

We then did Quiet Place and Monstrous and waited 10 min for Monstrous and 20 for Quiet Place. We wanted to do Tram, but we waited for a couple of friends to arrive before we did the Tram as they wanted to go with us. Didn’t matter to me as I’ve already been twice and saw everything. We did FJ while we waited but now the Tram line reached 50 min. We waited 30 min.

After Tram we did repeat a repeat run thru of Monstrous and then did the 11:15 Purge show. Did Dead Exposure and Weeknd then left at 1:00.

Had we not waited for everyone. We could absolutely have done everything (No rides) by midnight. We probably could’ve even saw the last Purge show. Crazy considering it was a Friday night in early October! Last night kinda proved to me that I don’t need early access. I miiiiiiiight get it just for closing night just to maximize run thrus, but I really don’t see the need or value of getting it when I don’t need it, and the houses won’t be fully staffed on top of that.

Stopped by for the last hour 15min after working LAHH, was hoping to get to the park a little sooner to catch PURGE.

Since it was almost 1am, I hit Monstruos... then headed down to the Lower Lot for the "loop". Was hoping to do Universal Monsters twice, but i knew my body wasn't going to move that fast :skull:

The TCM smell was faint but present.

Was able to do Weeknd & Dead Exposure twice. I purposely waited the 9min after Universal Monsters just to be the last one in Dead Exposure right at 1:59am

Went last night to the first night of Wednesdays for HHN. They were selling express passes all night the first time I've seen them seeing them for longer then the first hour (or at least normally I see one booth with a sign saying buy express here and then its flipped to FFP later)

The EA at least for me was the same hit insidious, Ghost Busters Twice, then Quiet Place and Monstours

The lines were about the same at most houses the first hour as on a Sunday or Thursday maybe a few mins less but most around the same but past 8 PM is where I saw the real shift...I was in and out of Quiet Place again around 8 PM....never see that happen yet on any night that early.

I also hit the Terror Tram (walk on), Bloodline Eternal (15 mins) and the 8:30 PM Scareamony and tried the taco's in the plaza area...they are good but still think Disney has them beat on most foods, at least for me the taco's at rancho de zoclo were better when I had them a month ago but not bad Taco's just fine for the price

I will note that last years first Wednesday was also the busiest of the Wednesday Per the wait times online I found so here is hoping next week has even less people and I will be hitting the lower lot first next time and see how that works.

I did the last hour was dead, walk ons everywhere

So if you can come to the event on a Wednesday and call in six the next day if you can only come once

Got up here by midnight. Long waittimes are long, Insidious is still rocking 80min. I watched the Skull Lordz Scaremony & currently at Purge (right side by the fire because it's cold!).

Hoping the waittimes drop within the next 30min, otherwise I'll just hangout in the SZs.

Is the park usually busy closing night? Also, would it be a 1am closing or 2am closing night?

It’s usually moderate on closing night. They always close at 2 closing night.

Already did Monstruos, and mingled with the Luchador & Skull monsters. Currently waiting for PURGE to start

Waittimes are more or less non-existent. Insidious is saying 30, TCM 20, everything else walk-on

Yeah, if you can take off work Wednesday is the best day to go. TCM was 15 mins at like 6:45 PM.....compared to its normal 45+ mins at this time on other nights

This is how the event should feel for the most part, sure express still get to go but there is like 1/3 of them compared to even Sunday and to me this is how the event should flow

Despite the hills & starway nearly killing me, the fact that i was able to get the other 6 houses done after Purge during that last hour is mind blowing. The walks from Curious George to SS12 & TCM are the worst.

There was some issue at Camp Jurassic or near it, so they had guests double back the long path that you take through the Jurassic queue. Somehow I was able to squeak into Dead Exposure with 1 minute to spare (1:59am) & be the last body. Would've gotten there sooner had the original route be available lol

There were a few empty booholes last night, but also the scareactors were still killing it at 1am.

Ohhh and wanted to talk about this

went to TCM first and they were telling people to walk side by side/double up for the house

I heard others talk about this but like WTF? It was not a busy night, I know we would love these houses to move quicker but side by side? I just don't think that plan will work out much without having TMs yell at you in every room

Off to Six Flags tonight where I will walk into houses and 8/10 times I'll be the only person in the house, lol

Went last night as well. Wait times were extremely low. I noticed an increase of ops yelling "KEEP MOVING AAAAAALLL THE WAY FORWARD! MOVE UP AGAINST THE WALL!!!!" Like why? I would love to move forward believe me but I have nowhere to go!

I'm going back closing night and that will be it for me.
