If I had to guess, it's because after last year, they feel the space we have would be better suited for one season and not three

Another possibility could be the same reason why we're not getting Alien. It would be too expensive to pull off effectively.

I don't think that Election Year concept was ever really a thing. Ryan Murphy was saying that when he was drunk and then said, "no, no, jk jk, I was just mad." But if they really are doing that for the next season, I could totally see that point.

WB is being sued for $900 million over the Conjuring series. Is this something that could possibly effect the maze line-up? Normally when these things happen I feel like the person suing the studio doesn't have much of a case, but this guy does.

If "Annabelle Creation" doesn't get pulled from Theaters then I think we will be fine. Seeing as though it says in the article that the guy wants the film to be cancelled.
