Bill and Ted was not included in the Auditions page that went up today.  But there is not any show that is being cast so what do you think?

What do I think of this? Horror Nights is getting worse. We've been demanding a second show for years and now they give us ZERO. That's Hollywood's HHN for ya. Giving us the bare minimum of entertainment offerings.

Like I mentioned before, I'm fairly sure it's confirmed Bill & Ted will be coming back. It would be highly unusual if HHN didn't host a single show this year. The only auditions being held at the moment are for scare actors, stilt-walkers, and go-go dancers.

In the past they have always announced all HHN auditions at the same time. To me it's looking like no B&T and most likely no shows at all. I hope you're right William. Shows are going away at USH in general.

It'll be a shame if Bill and Ted doesn't return.

I guess Californians in general are really apathetic towards theme park shows at Hollywood. I know the audience is really into Bill and Ted in Florida alongside Rocky Horror, but for whatever reason, reaction is more reserved here.

We've gone from demanding that Horror Nights add a second show to soak in people to having any sort of show at all. The Walking Dead is back again, the Terror Tram is the same as it has always been, the backlot experience will be Walking Dead again, no more shows, a buttload of reused props....and yet the prices keep going up. WHERE THE CRAP IS ALL OF THE MONEY GOING TO?!?!?! I feel like the event is screwing me over to the point to where I don't see much need to support them much longer.

I was watching a video of the Backlot and the guy recording the video walked past the area where they are keeping the walls for one of the backlot mazes and noticed an interesting sign sitting out there next to them. From what I can tell it reads "Lucky O'Malley's Tavern." Any idea of what it could be? HHN related or just some random prop?

I don't know about that but its interesting... Could that be a prop for the original maze?

I'm with you on this, Freak. HHN kept getting better and better. Now it's stalling. And if there are no shows at all this year that will (to me) begin the decline.

There's always "The Hanging"...

Unless they announce that The Walking Dead will remain HHN's flagship attraction for the rest of its existence and that no shows will ever be held at the event again, I don't see why we're freaking out. I've seen plenty of people complain about the event, yet they still go and enjoy it. I'd wait until we're closer to September to make a complaint.

It was confirmed that California retained the rights to B&T along with Florida, but it's their choice on whether or not they want to do it. It would be a shame as it is a crowd-soaker. (about 1500 to 2000 between those waiting and those inside)

Honestly the thing I'm still really curious about is whether or not they'll operate Despicable Me during the event.

All the more reason to hate on HHN if it doesn't return.

It's going to be icon. If they get rid of B & T and not have DM open, then Universal has shown to be stupid beyond the logical possibility of belief. HHN desperately needs more people eaters to help the crowds and they're cutting down on them. HHN will now be 90% waiting in lines now.

Also, I tweeted Murdy how he feels about the icons (Jack and Director), and he has no interest in using them. It's a sad future for HHN. I think we should start freaking out. :P

I think the decline began in 2012, personally.

Hooray for undead minions.

In all seriousness, though, I don't see why they wouldn't keep it in operation. Florida keeps Minion Mayhem open during HHN despite its family orientation. If anything, I'd expect a non-operational SSFL.

I'm not convinced that discussing it is "freaking out". People will complain but will still go and enjoy it - I know I will. But I miss the shows and USH keeps reducing the number of them. I respect that you would wait until September to make a complaint. I see it not as freaking out, but discussing something that I'm interested in.

Right, I understand. By saying "we," I was loosely referring to the HHN fan community as a whole (in addition to all-caps and abundant punctuation used above). Feel free to discuss, I don't want to seem like I'm making any accusations.

If you ask John Murdy about if HHN will get B&T again, don't as he did say something about the relationship:

'It's not something I produce so I tend to stay out of it. My focus is on things that are scary'

Its only on the Show department to choose what content to have for HHN shows and right now, they might be worried about B&T to have the same

issue as last year.

^Every year, he always said that it was. Being that he answered it that way makes me think that's a bad sign.

Okay, this is from a friend of my GF who works for the contractor that is building some of the mazes. So...

He said they are building a maze inside Stage 56 - the Castle Theater. He thinks the show that's in there now will close mid-August.

That seems awfully late to start constructing an SS maze.

I extremely agree. But; could it happen? I'm not sure and I just have more a feeling that the 7th will be on a metro set than SeS.
