Went through Clowns earlier this week. It was interesting.

I'm sure when scenic gets in there it'll be much better than the photos suggest.

Looks a lot like the interior of Black Sabbath, but I'm not making any judgement calls until I experience it for myself.

Black Sabbath was a lot more open, Clowns is fairly claustrophobic since it takes place (thematically) entirely indoors, but there are a butt-ton of similarities.

The elements of Black Sabbath fit better with a clown themed experience, so it's too bad they just came to realize that. I'd imagine it's also more claustrophobic considering it's a tent maze rather than a soundstage maze.

(kicks dust on the ground, puts hands in pockets, mumbles under breath)

Well my sister wants to go to HHN, so I'm guessing I'm going next month on the 16th. The good news is she hates clowns so we won't have to do Clowns 3D. If I plan it right (due to no Bill and Ted) we could be done with the entire event in three hours.

I think I'll have more fun seeing construction progress and chatting with old coworkers more than anything else, although I am glad I will be able to see American Werewolf in London.

Bought the VIP Experience again for opening night. Maybe I can ask a tour guide to reenact Bill and Ted for me.

Last year was a surprisingly good experience for me. My party knocked out all of the mazes before midnight, which allowed us to do everything a second time (in addition to doing each of the rides). Hoping to have the same luck this year!

I really don't know how to emphasize this via text, but it's unfathomable how excited I am for this event. Honestly. Just 5 more days.

Anyway, TPA took a behind-the-scenes tour or AWiL. Some minor spoilers, but it looks amazing. Check it out.

Just saw the article. It looks like a rehash of Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper. Maybe it translates better in person.

From the article, it looks like the Klownz scare zone threw up all over the Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper mazes....

I'll still be going in it for sure though!

the sad thing for me is this; I can't go to HHN this year.. I really have been trying to find a way to go but it seems like its not going to happen and i'm going to have to watch from the side. Might be best due to the wall issue but; This might be the only year for AWIL and AVP which I am excited for but sadly, seems like i'm out... and its a shame too. Hopefully next year!

It should, though many of the same tricks and effects are in play.

As mentoned in twitter, You will NOT be taking the tram to the metro sets, instead; you will be walking the whole way... probably best to pace crowds.

From what Jonathan is telling me, it's a long walk so be prepared.

Walking all the way to the metro sets sounds like the scariest part of the event....

Jonathan's take so far:

- Walking Dead is pretty similar from the maze they had last year

- Alien vs. Predator looked good

- From Dusk Till Eh

Apparently people are complaining about the walk from the Lower Lot to the Metropolitan Sets.

1. Meh.

2. That's great news to hear.

3. How am I not surprised.

Can't wait to hear his thoughts on the other mazes.
