He definitely is hinting at at least one more backlot maze.. I'm thinking 1 Upper, 2 Lower, 4 Backlot. As for the backlot I'm predicting in front of 747, Crimson Peak's location from last year, and the other two in Courthouse Square as we have speculated before.

So I guess we can cross off AHS & FVJ off of our list as well?

while putting either of those properties in a soundstage would be preferable, I can still see them happening in a tent. They had that "mega tent" for Walking Dead last year which can still work for either property I think.

Well I don't think Murdy would give up on FvJ or not do it after the backlash of last year. So naturally I do have a speculated maze locations list:

Upper Lot:

Hoh Location: The Walking Dead

Persian Courtyard: Halloween 2

Lower Lot:

JP Queue: Krampus

Mummy Queue: The Exorcist

Backlot:

Metro Sets: American Horror Story

Metro Sets (Front of Stage 747): Freddy Vs Jason

FDTD Metro Sets: The Conjuring

Courthouse Square has been ruled out.

A part of me hopes that H2 doesn't go to the Courtyard, but who knows. But yeah; I agree with this probable list respectively.

Why would you think that a Saturday morning kids show would work as a HHN house?

I don't think we need to cross either AHS or FVJ. Although no sound stages is inconvenient other venues still can work for them.

TWD

Parisian- Mysterious maze that isn't 100% anything

JP- Krampus

mummy- The Exorcist

Metro Sets- The Conjuring

747 Outside- FVJ

FDTD- AHS

of course they can be switched around and stuff but that's just a guess

So I wanted to throw a quick speculation about "doris day" and American Horror Story. So Murdy said on Twitter that "Doris day" will be in the metro sets (2013-14 TWD, Crimson Peak) next to 747 stage and also going back a long time ago. The thing about codename "doris day" is that the IP has something to do with a song from "doris day". The song that comes up in my mind is "Que Sera Sera"

So that's my speculation on "Doris Day".

Interesting thought. That could limit on what they use if they locate it at the Metro Tent used for TWD/CP (although lets be real here, they could handle for Hollywood vastly different than Orlandos to where it only features Murder House and Asylum for this year).

Personally curious, has anyone tried to connect Doris Day to "The Conjuring"? I'm curious if anyone has, but that's just me.

I connected Doris Day to FVJ a while ago just going with how Doris Day is our most original maze but still based off of an IP. I don't see AHS being our most original maze but then again I haven't seen the show and with The Connuring there's a lot to work with in the first one but I haven't seen the second one yet however I've heard that there is a lot of material to work with so I don't think they would need to go original on it.

I also wanted to add to my "Doris Day" American Horror Story Speculation. Is that if American Horror Story is coming to the event and is that if they will be going to San Diego Comic Con again (they went in 2014 and 2015). That the announcement could be made at AHS San Diego Comic Con Panel like the previous SDCC maze announcements (2012 Silent Hill, 2013 Evil Dead (I think) and 2015 Crimson Peak).

I've said this when I was thinking on the possible schedule ahead for the announcements, I think AHS gets announced at SDCC if it is indeed coming. That way, Marketing can drive it up on both coasts in a way; but hey, that's just me.

Watching the show there are some original things in the AHS. But for the most part I think I am little surprised that Murdy is calling AHS (Rumored) to be the most original maze because while there are some original elements to the show it has a lot of elements from other horror movies. Also because for the longest time we thought that "doris day" is Krampus because of the Christmas songs and the original things in the film but if this rumored lineup is true I know that Krampus is more original than AHS but that's my opinion (I still think "Doris Day" is AHS). As for "The Conjuring" there isn't really a real connection to it with "doris day" and plus a lot of features of both films are not original and are elements from other films.

I'm still sticking with Freddy Vs. Jason as Doris Day because it's a property that I could see being original. As well as John saying that there is a rotating piece of scenery that will change the ending of the maze. Sounds like Orlando's how Freddy and Jason would cycle back and forth between winners.

That would make sense. Its also not like John picked out multiple scenes from the film numerous times and placed them in other houses with those two iconic slashers..

oh wait.

^ he tweeted that it's going to be used for a photoshoot that will need to begin setup during Horror Nights.

Edit: Ignore this post. Didn't refresh my page for a while, so this was already answered.

Now we gotta think of other places where mazes could be housed. Confirmed venues we have are: TWD show building, JP, Mummy, Metro Sets, and outside of SS747.

There is no confirmation yet for the FDTD area to be used however it is very plausible.

No soundstages, no courtyard square, no Parisian. Anyone have any other ideas? I'm completely stumped.
