Oh well. Conjuring could always be put off till the next James Wan masterpiece

I had a feeling in my gut, with the announcement of TCM in Orlando a few months ago, that we were probably gonna get it again this year. The Conjuring honestly seemed a little too good to be true, and the whole postponing of the maze announcements only reinforced my feelings.

What curious's me is that we got two houses in one day; and to top it off, it reassures me that this year feels very much like an anniversary year in a sense.


It brings back the New Line Trio along with The Shape and Regan, and it seems like we may be getting AHS and Krampus, making this year really feel like it's for the fans that have requested to see those new two IP's in particular. Combined with the rumors of the Classic Monsters involved in a scarezone of some sort; multiple live shows and Potter most likely being open to the public, it gives a lot of unique and exciting things for everyone to get excited about.

Well... That's not to say that this isn't a "An American Werewolf In London" 2012 Situation (Murdy switched AWiL with Texas). "The Conjuring" could happen when they make their next sequel.

Murdy has mentioned that more information on FvJ will be unveiled on Saturday at MSS during the HHN panel.


He also says that it's a completely new experience, but not seeing the literal events of the film of FvJ itself.

While the line ups that have been mentioned sound great! I wouldn't mind seeing The Conjuring maze get dropped in favor of a different IP like Texas Chainsaw.

Murdy notes something interesting..he is treating TCM like it's taking place in-between TCM1 and TCM2.

Freddy vs Jason will be entirely original, taking only some film elements, but none from the actual film itself.

Huh the idea for Texas sounds interesting, I'm gonna ask murdy if this was in the original plans or was this a result of a dropout

Seeing as how they are adding creatives interpretations to Freddy vs. Jason, Halloween, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I think it's safe to say the inclusion of new characters and scenarios will be implemented into Krampus. Plus people are now looking into Murdy's announcement of "more mazes to be released" and assuming that there are more than 2 more mazes that are going to be announced.

Probably not, just him going into details about the newly announced mazes, as well as behind the scenes stuff of old mazes. My safe bet is the next maze announcement, Krampus, gets announced at Scare LA

My hunch is no announcement until ScareLa. Then Terror Tram the next week, and the final maze the week after. Curious to see what would get announced at ScareLa considering it's usually for Hollywood exclusives. And our last two speculated properties are rumored to be shared.

I sauce no announcement Saturday because he already said he's gonna talk about these 2, also murdy is saying that he intentionally didn't announce Texas till now, which I don't believe to be true

Probably not. He's probably gonna talk about the lineup and mazes of years past and this year's lineup announced so far. I'm gonna throw a huge prediction of how the next announcements will play or just how everything will play out.


June 30th: Midsummer Scream HHN Panel (Talk of old mazes and new ones)


August 2nd - 5th: "Krampus" Maze Surprise Announcement 


August 7th: Scarela Terror Tram Announcement


August 9th-11th: "American Horror Story" Announcement along with Scare zones, Shows, Dates, and Tickets.
