True, I doubt they would but they also wouldn't want to get anything that wouldn't be aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The X-cars have the onboard lights, audio, and video, as well as the interactive element of the music selection.

I agree, these cars, as rough as they can be, look really awesome.

The thing about the Xcars is that they cannot just add more wheels. They would have to make each row its own seperate car Like they did with Gwazi. If Maurer can do that while still making the trains be able to navigate the track (i.e. not making the trains too much longer) then I'm all for it.

If they are genuinely getting new cars, Maurer won't be involved.

Not necissarily. If they were to install another wheel hub in the middle of each train that can independently swiwel based on the track, then that could smooth out the ride a lot. If the problem truly is the spacing between the two wheel hubs, then they simply just have to add more wheels.

You guys are aware that there are other issues with the company's vehciles too right? There have been two (as far as rulings are concerned) manufacture responsible deaths from the company's spinning coasters. Both within very recent time and that is two too many...especially considering how young this coaster company is and how few coasters they have in comparison.

Universal is not going to likely deal with these folks ever again.

Maurer has already pretty much screwed their reputation in the industry.

I wouldn't be surprised if they end up going under pretty soon. But I still think that its pretty crappy that B&M is turning down work in this day an age to create new vehicles.

I had a rough car today when I rode. For journalistic purposes I stuck around and found out which car it was. It was car 3. Which points me to my latest theory the ride is rough, add train 5 to the equation and you have headache.

The only rough train is 5. I've ridden every single train on the coaster, and 5 was the only one that I would consider being near rough at all. And too be honest it wasn't that bad. It was comparable to an older wooden coaster, that has had fairly good upkeep over the years.

Some people have to drive over ten miles, or jump on a plane to ride high class coasters worst than Rockit, and you guys complain about it having a rough train

High class roller coasters worst than Rocket? All the ones I have riden that where high class (except Texas Giant) where smooth to say the least. Here is the list:

^Roller Coaster or Manhattan Express when I rode it was without a doubt the worst steel coaster EVER. And it cost 14.00 to ride it!

August 04, we stayed at the MGM Grand and the first night I was there we rode it. Speed was my favorite coaster of the trip, and Xscream was the scariest ride I have ever been on. Gotta say Vegas needs new coasters because everyone they have sucks. The highlight of my trip beside the casinos were the buffets.

I've got to agree, Roller Coaster sucks. So does Desperado, although it's not as bad. I'm sure people in Vegas would love to have Rockit instead of most of their rides.

I got a question. Where the trains Premier's taxi cabs or the TOGO trains?

To me the Roller Coaster wasn't bad & about Vegas needing a rocket I agree (or a Hulk :P).

Premier didn't add there trains until 2006 so while I haven't tried the new trains its just a ride I will never ride or rather PAY FOR EVER again.

I can understand now if you rode the TOGO cars during the Manhatten Express days, but trust me when I say the Premier upgrades SAVED the ride and made it so smooth and now more fun.

BUT...
It's now $15 dollars to ride / $25 all day.
