The only rough train is 5. I've ridden every single train on the coaster, and 5 was the only one that I would consider being near rough at all. And too be honest it wasn't that bad. It was comparable to an older wooden coaster, that has had fairly good upkeep over the years.

Some people have to drive over ten miles, or jump on a plane to ride high class coasters worst than Rockit, and you guys complain about it having a rough train

I've rode lots of Steel coasters and I wouldn't say RockIt was the worse but it's not a smooth ride. I know there are plenty of rollercoasters worse than RockIt, but put it on the Fl Steel playing field and....well yea.

I haven't ridden many coasters, but out of the few I've ridden, Rockit is by far the roughest. My entire family had a headache after we got off, it was that bad.

Hey guys, I sent a twitter out to OU yesterday, but just another notch on the wall. As I was walking into USF they were evacuating people on the brake runs in city walk...again. It was down about 45 mins and then came back up with a 45 min wait..I skipped it and just jumped over to WW

Regardless Rockit does not belong at a world class Theme Park.

Another thing I was looking at whenever the cars passed by as I mentioned they should just add another wheel hub to smooth out the ride, there is no space for that. The wheels as they are currently, are pretty close to each other already. Maybe they have to spread them out more instead of closer together and that may smooth the ride out a bit.

All day today Rockit was running random cars empty, I don't know why. When I rode the loading was pretty quick and easy and the ride was honestly the smoothest it's ever been for me. There were five trains on the track but it was pretty busy so the wait climbed to 45 later in the day.

Smooth ride today. Very long line today around 4PM as well. Single riders line was way past the stairs.

I've only been on it twice, one of which was on train 5, and I agree with Kraken&Manta... mostly...

It was rough.

But I've also ridden:
The American Scream Machine (Over Georgia). I need new kidneys.
Mean Streak (Cedar Point). A visit to the spinal surgeon, please.
Magnum XL 200 (Cedar Point). It's not necessarily bumpy. But it hits the bunny hops way too hard. Minus the bruised thighs, I kind of like the intense air time.
And many more.

Don't complain about RockIt being bumpy; complain about RockIt being too intrusive, complain about RockIt constantly going down, complain about RockIt (excluding the banner on the incline tower) being a freaking ugly piece of work (especially the support beams), complain about the delays, complain about the lame theme, the boring queue, the fact that I vomit a little each time I realize that Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket is crashing through New York.

Despite it all I still enjoy riding it, because at its core it's a decent coaster with some decent air time after each of those block brakes. That's what amusement parks are about. The problem is that Universal Studios isn't an amusement park, it's a theme park.

How do hell do you guys get beat up on Roller Coasters so bad? Do you just sit down, strap up, and let your body turn into jelly or something?

And about HRRR ruining the theme and general feel of USF, I've grown to not care. I'm not going to sugarcoat it; USF is a boring-looking park. Always has been. Only time I could actually sit lakeside and "appreciate the view" is during Horror Nights. Adding a roller coaster to a theme park's otherwise boring skyline is A-OK in my book. It sucks that the ride is a bit pressed for space, but I've learned to deal.

If I want an amazingly beautiful park, I'd go to Islands. Which I do. USF isn't even worth a full day, as much as I enjoy it.

:ack: Seriously? If you want to listen to that type of music attend the concert. But don't force people to listen to something they might not believe in just to ride a ride. Serious poor judgement if this is true.

I'd say it's as good as confirmed. That information came from Alice Norsworthy, the Executive VP of Universal.

I really doubt that they'd replace the standard tracks. And if they're providing music like Switchfoot or Family Force 5, their lyrics are about as Christian as U2. It's not Christian worship music, it's music by Christians. Listen to Bullet Soul by Switchfoot or Radiator by Family Force 5 and tell me those wouldn't be awesome to listen to on Rockit.

I really like this decision and I hope this means Rockit's lineup can be changed often. It'd be neat for it to change at Mardi Gras too.

The only thing keeping this from being religious recruitment is the fact that you don't have to ride. Just bad. Sorry for getting so worked up but wow.

I guess since RTU is seperately ticketed they might just do this during the concerts. I hope so.

I am sorry but, no, the music at RTU is Christian religious music.

I've attended RTU. It's a Christian event, yes, but it's not a worship revival. It's rock music, by Christians, in a fun setting. Give one of those songs I mentioned a listen and tell me you wouldn't love it to replace Fergie on Rockit forever.
