Question is how will those companies incorporate the video and music components into their cars.

The ride only has one rough train, so of course the park has to get new trains that would ruin the ride.
Intamin's OTSR would kill the ride, Vekoma's REAL roughness would kill the ride, and Premier's horrible looking trains would kill the ride.

I really hope that rumor isn't true.

Out of the companies mentioned I think Intamin would do the best job, but I wouldn't be a fan of having OTSR on the coaster. Its meant to have the rider feel free, not cramped into a seat.

When it comes incorporating the music and video, thats not difficult at all believe me.

But if they have 7 trains in house, and 1 of the 7 is bad, just run the 6 and be done with it. Worse case scenario, break down the bad train and build it back up again and maybe that will solve the problem.

I wouldn't really mind if they change the cars. Since the cars have caused the coaster many problems.

They need to stop putting money into this thing and focus on other rides for once.

Yeah. This thing has quickly become the most expensive investment in Universal's theme park history...

and the return has not been so great.

And it doesn't even fit into the Universal theme.
Ride The Movies!
The has NOTHING to do with a movie.
It is just basically a get rich quick scheme back firing.

I don't know about the most expensive ever cause Mummy and FJ were pretty expensive, but it has been plagued by continuous problems.

I wonder why B&M would turn down a project for? I mean they made an excellent coaster in Hulk and Dragons. Why would they say no to this one? Cause of a vertical lift?

They are too snobbish sometimes and grant B&M's are as durable as they come, but they refuse to incorporate new tech into their coasters.

This thing was more expensive than Revenge of The Mummy.

The Mummy cost 30 million. (they built both FL's and Hollywood's for a combioned 60 million)

This coaster was already near 42 million pricetag when it was ready to initially 'open'

Even after that a lot more money has gone into the troubles it has had since.

Never stated it was more expensive than Forbidden Journey or Spiderman, but the return has been very slim with it in comparison. Hence, why I said investment.

No true, good point, very good point, but they are better off investing it and getting it right, versus just giving up and leaving it as is in such a tragic state.

partly because they would need to re-engineer their trains to work on this track. B&M and MS might use different center points... and they would need to modify other aspects, their realistic bid would be much to high. They "have" incorporated new tech before, but it's on their terms... They have incorporated music before in two of their coaster trains... (Hollywood dream, and whatever they are calling the one at abandoned music park in south Carolina)

Ah true, thats right, they have, but no one else has made an interactive music selection like Rockit before though.

The main reason B& M would not agree to the universal timetable they had a couple of other coasters going up and did not think they could make the timetable (of course neither could the ones who did)

I've come to the conclusion that if this were to happen (which I doubt and hope this isn't true), they should at least use MACK's trains used on Blue Fire.

Just got off Rockit... It was my third attempt and I had the displeasure of finally experiencing the rough car. It was train 5. One of the worst experiences I've ever had on a coaster.

:yikes: Why can't Universal just keep that car in the maintenance bay and use the other cars?

Oh wow Roll n Fear, I was at the parks today, too. Thankfully I got a smooth car, though. I've had the displeasure of riding roughly, though. :/ Other than those select times, the ride is absolutely great.
