On Monday night at Vidiots, there was a special screening of The Substance, and Demi Moore herself attended and discussed the film. She admitted she didn't know what "body horror" was when she went into the film.

THE GORGE on AppleTV is pretty good! Intriguing concept, some cool monster designs (a little too CGI-y at times, but that comes with the territory now, unfortunately), and really good lead performances from Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy.

Unexpectedly very romantic, too.

Yeah, I don’t know if I’d call it “good” - the writing is a bit thin at times, and the back half felt a bit compromised by likely-studio-mandated exposition dumps - but it’s very, very entertaining in the way many inherently silly genre and disaster flicks are. Worth watching.
