If you can find the time, this video is a little under 20 minutes and really dives deeper into the framing of the movie and how Graffiti Pete's character change and largely being written out of the movie changed how the story is perceived. He also just generally mentions some pretty interesting things that I hadn't thought about, but make me think about now that I look back at the movie and, if done intentionally, then my hat it tipped to Quiara for adapting her story so well to the screen as i'm sure most of the reasons for the framing and other things fall back to what the script called for.
