It certainly looks like it to me.

Doesn't it just. I used to struggle with hulk, found it rough and it would often give me a head ache. Would often walk by even though I loved riding it, should be a huge improvement that will leave me headache free:):):).

I will miss the roar though to me it is the signature of a great B&M.

When they're testing the coaster like this with water dummies, what's the weight per dummy? I'd imagine it's going to be the maximum weight to ensure every weight possibility is accounted for and that may lead to faster trains.

According to this about 175 lbs

Ditto on the headaches. It banged my head around.

It depends if it's Disney or Universal. Universal dummies are slim & light to reflect their customers' size. Disney's are very large and heavy, once again to represent their customer base. ;)

With those metal detectors, those fanny (lol) packs can't get through so it's hard to say.

Good question. I know that water weighs about 10 lb a gallon.

This is where metric really comes into to its own. 1kg a litre.

I think in the UK it's a pretty accurate description.

I have noticed in the past that video recordings don't always record the roar as it was, so it is hard to tell from that.

The tagline being "roaring back 2016", I doubt they'd just go ahead and make it silent.

^ It always did sound louder over there across the lagoon. I was the one who said they were filling the front parts with sand. It was always a question of how it would effect the old sound.

Maybe they partially filled with sand to just dampen the sound a little, I assume that is how Busch Gardens does Kumba, which also roars but not too much.

Given how hollow the box track is, I don't think semi filling it would be an option.

Maybe all those spike we seen on the supports are for speakers?

We already saw pics of the track out back with random holes cut in it to drain the sand as it was dismantled. At least that is what some said it was at the time.

Yeah!! This sounds like kumba now lol. But definitely less beefier than the old hulk roar. At least it's still a roar, I'm satisfied with it.

Quick note...

The Over the Shoulder Restraint has "gills" in it in the area next to your head for the speakers. Aside from the headlights, I couldn't find any other sign of lighting on the vehicle.

From the Mako Madness pics, rows 1, 4, 5 and 8 now have the double belt restraints vs rows 3 and 6 previously.
