Went on Friday...The Dilophosaur in the boat has a santa hat awkwardly strapped over the head of the animatronic. Well...yeah. That is the only nod to Christmas at all on the ride. A bit random.

On IU's twitter they said that the ride will be closed for refurbishments. Does anyone know exactly whats going to be worked on during closure?

I also went on Friday and I thought the hat was really funny, because I wasn't expecting any Christmas scenery at all.

Can we have that be a thing now? Jurassic Park The Ride With Falling Ford. Maybe eventually we can call it Jurassic Park With All Animatronics Restored The Ride. Lol

Im just happy it is fixed now. Thankfully everything in the ride is actually working.

I'm still kinda shocked we saw no Jurassic World addition of any kinda. Even a wrecked ball from the ride featured movie in one of the scenes. Will be interesting to see if this lengthy refrubishment will be a fixer upper or if we will see anything extra dropped into the mix.

The Raptor Encounter is technically the JW addition, on both coasts. Universal did not predict just how massive JW was going to be, however luckily for JPRA, the lower lot's gonna get a lot of love. 

Let's hope that love splashes onto it.

When I went to USH last month, there was a long line for the raptor encounter meet and greet. Also a huge crowd watching the encounter. Lets hope Universal takes notice of that.

Speaking of the Raptor Encounter, wasn't there word that the location for the experience would be moved somewhere else? Just wondering, as I am starting to think that the location currently will be the permeant location for now on, at-least until all the Lower Lot work is done.

It was just speculation. If you've seen it in person, the setup they have looks very temporary.

The Ford fell way too early when I rode on 1/2/16.  The car was going back up the wall as we passed it LOL!

Okay now see, I would love to see the falling jeep reset. That would be really cool. I regret not forcing myself to go down to the Lower Lot to take a ride on JPRA while at the park on sunday... oh well, I will do so when it reopens after the refurbishment.
