The concept of the headset and real time animation is what we have seen in gaming for motion-capture for years.
With the face camera the mouth, eyes and facial muscles can be recreated on a screen, for an AA this would be too complex and expensive.
So I think this is going to be for an real-time animated character(s). Universal hardly ever uses it's ip on the art as intended so this could be for anything that can be real time animated. With the state of tech this could be human or animation CGI.
