Is 12+ months for retracking a "normal" timeframe for a coaster of that scope?

I think they're saving all of Tomorrowland for Phase 2 of their 10 year investment plan. Gives them something "new" to market in 2026, not a bad strategy.

I think MK & DL's Tomorrowland plans will share a similar concept.

This has been rumored for a while. The full plans are expected to be a much needed track replacement alongside the new effects from the Disneyland version.

I thought they just retracked it a couple years ago when they put in some of the interactive stuff?

MK is generally overnight. Always amazes me. Universal is pretty quick with IOA also.

They must have a million people working and choreographing this all to happen this quickly. Wild and always impressive.

There are some fun videos on Youtube that show the overnight change. While I haven't been there for it as @SeventyOne has, it would be jarring and comical to go on Halloween and get up the next morning to find totally different holiday decorations in place, along with the music changing.

I'm wondering if they've been cheapening out on maintenance and are just waiting for the entire Frontierland project to work on this stuff? I know it's a separate budget, but stuff like this can't be happening consistently.
