What’s so difficult about this attraction that Disney would mess it up ?

I’ve seen what they’ve tried to do with Spaceship Earth and that doesn’t fill me with confidence. I also think modern imagineering is far less ideological and much more scared of making mistakes than any of the golden eras of the creative outfit.

The dialogue for Red the Pirate is ALL the evidence you need for the lack of faith in modern imagineering's writing.

Still have hope that CoP will turn out good though. I'll miss the Glo and Joe version of Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow that plays during unload.

. ....We've always enjoyed this attraction, and now it seems it will be there for a good while.
It's a nice relaxing relief from the heat and the rush of the park. Good decision.

I can't think of a scripted attraction that's worked in at least two decades. Even the ones fanbois still love because 'memberberries tend to fail -- looking at you. SSE. The Greeks and Phoenicians are critical to a history of communication, like ATT wanted--they have virtually no role in a history of "technology."

Yes, attraction wise, WDW has done pretty damn good on new attractions and updated attractions in the past ten years.
