What’s so difficult about this attraction that Disney would mess it up ?

I’ve seen what they’ve tried to do with Spaceship Earth and that doesn’t fill me with confidence. I also think modern imagineering is far less ideological and much more scared of making mistakes than any of the golden eras of the creative outfit.

The dialogue for Red the Pirate is ALL the evidence you need for the lack of faith in modern imagineering's writing.

Still have hope that CoP will turn out good though. I'll miss the Glo and Joe version of Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow that plays during unload.

. ....We've always enjoyed this attraction, and now it seems it will be there for a good while.
It's a nice relaxing relief from the heat and the rush of the park. Good decision.

I can't think of a scripted attraction that's worked in at least two decades. Even the ones fanbois still love because 'memberberries tend to fail -- looking at you. SSE. The Greeks and Phoenicians are critical to a history of communication, like ATT wanted--they have virtually no role in a history of "technology."

Yes, attraction wise, WDW has done pretty damn good on new attractions and updated attractions in the past ten years.

Well, they're the cheap 3D glasses, so I'm guessing no. So far, Disney and Universal's real aim is to cut costs since they generally
do it by cutting attractions that use the 'expensive 3D glasses. Bean counters rule.

Wondering if when Villain Land opens, we'll finally see Tomorrowland get love. SGE teardown, Laugh Floor replacement and Space Mountain update/(potential rebuild?).

Another IP I would like to see is Incredibles. You can port over the Infinity Defense ride system if Villains uses trackless for its E ticket.

I think Disney sees TL as mostly "fine" and might turn their sights to Adventureland next. Just a guess though.

But to play in the space with you a bit, I dunno if they ever fully get rid of SGE building because it houses so much and is so incorporated with the Utilidoors. I still would love to see some sort of new show or simulation/simulator experience in here.

IIRC, the last rumor chatter regarding the subject was that the Moana boat ride expansion was likely moved elsewhere, probably DHS so they could expand the concept beyond just a single standalone expansion in AL.

Unless they can think of another IP for AL, TL seems like the best thing post Villains.

It's still the "oldest" land in the park, even if an attraction moves I think it really could be next. There's always rumors of construction for a hotel in that area plus the persistent long term rumor of the Jungle Cruise going away. TL just got a new paint job, Tron, updated Buzz, updated CoP, and refurbed Astro. The only thing I could see on the chopping block would be the Speedway, but I don't think that's the full land redo folks want.
