I also like One Man's Dream, and it is pretty much The Walt Disney Story that used to be where Tony's Town Square Restaurant is. It was fascinating, had a short movie on Walt, and had that big model of Epcot in it.

I really love the idea of a Universal Museum, and I would love to see Gardens of Allah put to use, as long as they keep it looking somewhat the same. This is such a beautiful, peaceful area of the park.

Well here's a question I have for you guys. What ride props or AAs would make you lose your mind if they were inside this new museum? I'd love to see the flintstones birds at the exit area for barbera and definitely a triceratops AA carcus

I would not lose my mind, but it would be nice to see 2 giant AAs. One with skin off and one with skin on.

I'd like to see the model set they used to create the back to the future ride, along with some of the props they used in the preshow area, including Marty's letter to Doc.

Maybe I spoke too soon, because I probably would lose my mind over the BttF models.

Am I wrong in thinking this thing will be less concept art/models and more "here's what's coming in the next few years, book your rooms and buy your tickets now"?

Let's hope you're wrong. What you're describing is a "Preview Center" and NOT a museum. I'd rather have a MUSEUM, personally. I wouldn't be surprised if we see models of upcoming attractions in there somewhere though.

I would think it'd most likely both, with a focus on the past 25 years and the future of the resort.

After seeing the Universal exhibits at the Orlando History Center I can imagine they have EVERYTHING in storage somewhere and know how to put a great exhibit together.

Agreed...I also think that, as some have already pointed out, it will be a past, present and future history museum...

Umm... The old Kong photo-op, of course! I wanna get my picture taken in the big ape's hand again! And a BTTF ride vehicle! And a large Ghostbusters prop!

I think this post was largely misinterpreted.

This sounds more like it'll be a place to preview upcoming NBC/Universal TV shows and films, and have very little to do with the parks and their history, unfortunately.

Well that's significantly more boring.

I mean they did just remove the old preview center (for TV shows/movies) for the christmas store so it's very possible they relocate it.

However, I still think it will be a Museum/look to the future.

It's already been relocated to Hollywood. The new preview center is next to Schwabs.
