I agree with teebin a tour guide is unessisary. If they could just teleport the NBC universal experience to Allah I'd be more than satisfied. Just let me look around at my will

I love this idea; it would be something additional for people to do, and an escape from the heat and/or rain. I think it should definitely be self-guided. If you want a tour guide, pay the cost of a VIP tour for the entire park.

We still have Lucy, I see this as in the same vein.

I think this will be hands down better than Lucy if they pull it off like the NBC experience. This is also coming from someone who loves the I love Lucy tribute. I do have to say that universal knows how to make a great museum, look at the horror make up show queue for a great example. This could be their version of one mans dream and I'd be perfectly fine with that. This could make up for kong's delay easily

Here's my contribution. I posted it a while back but the comments about the Bates Motel made me think some who may have missed it may want a look.

I mentioned this on the Film Vault store thread, but is there any chance that it'll open suddenly and with little fanfare like the Film Vault did?

The fact that Jason Surrell just moved from WDI to UC gives me some hope that this will be done well. Surrell worked on One Man's Dream, and I think that it's a quality exhibit.

So is this still a thing then or not?

Yeah there really hasn't been any chatter regarding this project. I hope it's still coming because I think it'd be a great addition to an area that is just taking up space.

Yeah. I'd be surprised that of all the things rumored, this one wouldn't come to fruition.

I would assume that if this is happening it'll be part of the 25th Anniversary Celebration announcement that theoretically should be coming soon. Either way, we'll figure it out then.

I think they'll at least tease it a bit before doing that.

Something tells me we should start using the words "Preview Center".

I personally would love to enter in to the museum in a simple fashion of going through the Past, Present, and a look into the future of Universal. The Universal Past would be a great way to pay homage to its roots, classic rides, and give us those nostalgic moments by way of documentary videos, photos, or set pieces. The Universal Present would take a look at the resort as it stands now and kind of what it takes to run Universal. The Universal Future would be an evolving showcase based on new attractions being offered, plans down the road, and maybe even giving a glimpse into the future of ride technology. I think that would be something all people would find at least some interest in at one certain point (if they're big into museums)

That would be a twist, but makes sense if they want to include Kong, Sapphire Falls, Water Park, etc.

@Parkscope_Sean posted on twitter that Building 88 is going to have selective demolition on twitter. B-88 Is Gardens Of Allah. My old site stated that a museum coming late last year for the 25th anniversary. Looks like this might just happen!

The permits say the breezeway between the two Allah buildings will be demolished, as well as some other exterior touches. The second says there will be "Additions and Renovations".

I'm guessing the two buildings will be connected by a new hallway for the museum/preview center.

This will be right up my alley. I am one of those people that thinks the only good reason to visit DHS is One Man's Dream and a quick jaunt over to ponder the lobby of the Tower Hotel.

Another fan of One Man's Dream here, although I do ponder what will happen to it once DHS expansion plans kick in.
