Eh. I waited 3 hours for JP on opening day. I think the opening day for FJ will be about the same.

They're though diffrent but when JP opened it brought long lines and Potter in orlando got really, REALLY long lines.. heres a theory, If the Orlando Diagon alley goes all the way to Kidszone or T2 then

that will be a sign that Potter will never stop.. I just feel that no matter what, we're getting Diagon alley just due to the first phase brought alot of money and with how Universal is taking the second phase

it will be even larger than that dragon that is seen all around UOR...

Very unlikely theory.

I thought this was a thread about RIDE IDEAS not one about why Spongebob can't have an attraction and Diagon Alley coming to our park. :P

but theres also chances that brings things here too.. We would of never got potter if it wouldn't of been that huge juggernaut in Orlando and with Spongebob; Alot of people watching it is

kids, little kids and it wouldn't work for a major E-Ticket attraction; its like saying if ET or BTTF the ride comes back and yes, I said that.. Even though I really enjoy BTTF for what it is for

the park; better things come and go. T2, it had to go due to Universals Vision and BTTF, they might of had great ideas, Mummy, interesting premise but got cut down due to the Budget it

was given.. Alot of the park has to grow into something else and not just Keep old things.. But; JP is out of the question due to one reason: Universal needed a Water ride due to the heats

in the summer.. Thats why I think things will come and go, Transformers will leave eventually, Special Effects will leave eventually, Mummy will leave eventually, You can't just have it be for

one group which yes, it is more on teens but they are improving with Family attractions coming like the Flight of the Hippogriff which is a family coaster and a first for our park, DM just

opened and it is doing really well with familys due to there are things that they have to focus on. Not just one group and yes, Diagon Alley is a Possibility and It could or Could not happen as

you can't just say, " Oh, Ok lets keep these cruddy things for somereason." The park needs to Change and evolve into a breed that is unique and special out of any other park in the world

and to be frank; This Thread could be like Oh; Random spam which has happened yes but there are ride ideas that familys can enjoy which is why i'm happy Universal is trying

to Undo or Revise mistakes. Its a Unique park for a Reason and They have to change things up.. That out of the way; I have One ride request which might be acceptable.. a

removal of Mummy AFTER potter. and in its place is another Family attraction that is Innovative and original but no IPs. Just take that for what you will as its MY opinion...

And this world has alot of opinions but we can't just try to say; mabye acknowledge it..

The lower lot needs more attraction's , So does the upper lot . The upper lot should remove SES & Animal Actors. Then you have space for a water family ride or a dark family ride.

I think a Beetlejuice themed dark ride is still a great idea. Based on the intro of the old cartoon. Anyone else think that would be cool?

No, just due to space issues of Middle Earth... I'd see Star Trek though for a Simulator.

I'd absolutely love it. I love classic and proven properties becoming attractions. Because we know most of them have lasting power! Compare that to jumping the gun and making a ride based on The Smurfs or some other newer modernised crap.

In general I want a "haunted" or scary ride.

And if not a House of Horrors themed ride, a quirky scary/funny music based ride based on Beetlejuice would be amazing. Would be Universal's version of Haunted Mansion.

Anything based on LOTR would be great as well, but space wise would only fit in Orlando.

Thing is, WWOHP will 1000% successful in Hollywood and Japan. There's no doubting that. The LOGISTICS of having Diagon Alley is what concerns some of us.

It's not an impossible issue. In fact just on the lower lot alone (including the soundstages) there is more than enough room for Diagon Alley. Hold on... Let me open up photoshop...

*CLICKS OPEN PHOTOSHOP*

.... 2 hours later.

Here is what I came up with. Using Universal Orlando's ET Building for scale (since it's the exact size as our Mummy) Diagon Alley COULD fit in the lower lot and save many of the precious Soundstages like 12 and 28. I even added a waterfront that could include the huge London facade and a mini version of Universal's Cinematic Spectacular. If they did opt out of the option of a 2nd park, this is EXACTLY how I would want Universal to bring Diagon Alley to USH.

As I've said, while that looks great and hypothetically would be great, the LOGISTICS of creating that would be difficult.

And personally I don't wanna see anymore Potter after Hogsmeade opens. With our extremely limited space, I'd rather they save room for other stuff.

Yes, but we ultimately know what Universal goes for time and time again without fail.

Here's a hint: it's green.

The Hulk? Elphaba from Wicked? The Green Goblin? Broccoli? Grilled Zucchini? Classic Maleficent? Grass? Nickelodeon slime? Green apples? Grasshopper? Premature bananas? The Killing Curse from Harry Potter? Harry's eye color in the books? Am I getting close?

*shrug* I give up.

(As I've said, I PERSONALLY don't wanna see anymore Potter after Hogsmeade. We're going in loops with this topic...in every thread. I love Potter, and I'd be obsessed with Diagon Alley if they built it here, but as a Universal fan boy as well, I wish they'd save room in our tiny park for something else)

Hell, a dark ride based on the Wicked musical would be great too. Some kind of escape with Elphie or something. A flight through Oz or something. May be too similar to FJ tho.

Just putting ideas out for things I'd like. Lets try to veer back on topic.

Universal is finally in development for the movie version of Wicked, and it's obviously gonna be a huge hit when it comes out. I think incorporating Wicked/Oz back into the parks would be fantastic. The Wicked Wednesdays events USH did in 2007 were always a huge hit. The Oz/Wicked attractions in USJ (before they were changed) were also popular (forgive the pun). I think a theme park version of Wicked in place of SES or Animal Actors would be great and it will 100% be popular.

But a RIDE based on Wicked?! Honestly, that'd be really cool. I think that would have to wait until the movie, as I'm sure the movie is gonna be visually stunning and gonna introduce a lot of new visuals that would be great for a ride. Anything Oz themed is timeless.

I'd really love to see Wicked in SES and i'm hoping that it can be on the drawing table in creative. But; with that Diagon concept, Remove the lake and you get a few extra rides

and just flip Kings Cross to the right. But; we'll see

Diagon and thats my opinion. Great drawing btw. Heck, i can even show this and no-one will give a crud...

Just a possibility as it would fit. Its my opinion so i'll leave it at that and yes; that is MC.. But its for the buildings a good layout. But; its my opinion.
