Whether you guys like it or not, Spongebob is one of the most successful family animated shows of all time that appeals to most age groups. Spongebob would be a good business move IMO.

Guys they just took out the remaining vestiges of Nick in that park with the exception of the characters that walk around. I highly doubt they're getting any love from Nick / Vivendi / Viacom anytime soon.

Thank you and personally, in less than 3 years I think SpongeBob will not be in Hollywood anymore just due to

he doesn't really fit inanymore as what happened to his photo op is a sign then maybe he could be getting a

boot.

This is the ride IDEAS thread. I'd rather talk about an amazing potential Spongebob ride than the constant banter about Diagon Alley, which has made me sick lol.

Even though Universal has seemingly cut ties with Nick, they still have roaming Nick characters AND they built that brand new immersive Spongebob store in USF which is very popular! I think if Viacom and Universal worked things out again, Spongebob would be great! Especially a whole mini land and restaurant and ride.

Let's be real: it's a store, and it didn't seem to signify anything special or unique on my last visit.


Spongebob already has attractions scattered about. I'm not sure how that would fit in within Universal's current roster.

An immersive and high quality Bikini Bottom land, especially in Orlando, would be fantastic (as a replacement to Kidz Zone). You can build all of Bikini Bottom, a major Spongebob ride, a Jelly Fish spinner, Glove World mini section similar to our SSFL, and of course the Krusty Krab and Chum Bucket for food.

It would be another mini world similar to Springfield and SSFL. If Universal made a deal with Viacom, itd be a good option.

I mean, beyond that, whataya guys wanna see then? I think Bikini Bottom would be cute between SSFL and Springfield.

If Illumination releases any other popular animated movies, I'd love to see them as rides.

But I just honestly wanna see a dark ride or something like the Spaghetti Chase ride in Singapore but different theme.

I wouldn't say it won't happen. They may think that now, but a year from now that could change. You never know. Comcast is in a special mode right now where they are willing to spend and remove whatever is necessary to bring in the money. I won't be dogmatic about anything coming or going. Minds can change very quickly.

Yea, if Diagon is a Major Success that is even LARGER than WWOHP phase I then we're seeing Diagon in Hollywood

and possibly Japan too... It just depends on how big the merch/lines/popularity is...

Thing is, WWOHP will 1000% successful in Hollywood and Japan. There's no doubting that. The LOGISTICS of having Diagon Alley is what concerns some of us.

When WWOHP opens in Hollywood, I know it will be very 1000 % successful . But what concerns me is if forbidden Journey Ride will be an 4 to 5 hour wait . USH really need mores rides in the upper lot .
