The Crush N Gusher is a Whiewwater West/NBGS uphill water coaster that uses thin sheets of water for propulsion. They also designed a Zip coaster which uses conveyors at fast speeds to get you uphill.
Proslide's original uphill water coasters also used speed conveyors, but their current Hydromagnetic coasters use LIM type technology to propel the slides uphill. The Wildebeest which was mentioned here used them...as does River Rush at Dollywood, Mile High Flyer at Water World in Colorado, Bootleggers Run at Splish Splash in New York, and of course the world's largest(and Wildebeest's next door neighbor)Mammoth.
Personally, not only do I hope for theming on a ride like this, but I'd love to see it take the title as the world's largest water coaster. It would have to be over 1,763 feet long to take that title though.
