But I don't believe that it uses LIM at all. All three slides are water propulsion only. Propulsion with LIM will create a more "hand of God" like feeling as there is no apparent cause (water jets) speeding you uphill.

Sad thing is... I still don't really understand how LIMs work... I tried to read up on it again today and got as far as "ferromagnetism" and my brain went :stunned:. I thought it was more like opposing magnets... but I guess it ain't. Perhaps that's maglev... yeeesh

I believe INTAMIN's Aqua Trax coaster design uses LIMs for propulsion: http://www.intaminworldwide.com/amu...ctNumber/AquaTrax/language/de-DE/Default.aspx

The look of that reminds me of Atlantis at SeaWorld (not speaking to the LIMs). Obviously they could theme it to what their plans call for though.

The Crush N Gusher is a Whiewwater West/NBGS uphill water coaster that uses thin sheets of water for propulsion. They also designed a Zip coaster which uses conveyors at fast speeds to get you uphill.

Proslide's original uphill water coasters also used speed conveyors, but their current Hydromagnetic coasters use LIM type technology to propel the slides uphill. The Wildebeest which was mentioned here used them...as does River Rush at Dollywood, Mile High Flyer at Water World in Colorado, Bootleggers Run at Splish Splash in New York, and of course the world's largest(and Wildebeest's next door neighbor)Mammoth.

Personally, not only do I hope for theming on a ride like this, but I'd love to see it take the title as the world's largest water coaster. It would have to be over 1,763 feet long to take that title though.

Make it the thrillseekers' lazy river. Run it right around the park through each land, giving plenty of length and space for up and down hill sections, then deposit riders into a pool back near the start of the slide. Achievement unlocked!

There is a very very good reason why they are holding on tight. You should see its other spelling... :look:

^ Think more along the lines of, "Teebin is a native of the Aamarikkun continent". The story has been written... it is thus.

I'm still not totally sold on the name. The word "wonder" doesn't feel like Universal's brand (as opposed to, say, Volcano Bay). But I'll reserve judgement until I see the execution.
