New Water Park coming to Universal Orlando?

I'm still not totally sold on the name. The word "wonder" doesn't feel like Universal's brand (as opposed to, say, Volcano Bay). But I'll reserve judgement until I see the execution.

Yes, makes you wonder how it will fit the look.

I agree to that, universal has just spent a ton of their time advertising their parks as the most badass place on earth where even the rides for children have the word despicable in them. Granted I don't think wondersea will be as whimsical as it sounds on paper but still, strange change of tone. Especially after the big scary kong ride comes out

I think you maybe need to look at their recent advertising again. It's clearly not aimed at the "badass" crowd

With that dragon? The commercials for the gringotts and hogwarts express are shot like an action film, they even have a narrator that strangely sounds like the narrator from the old ps2 commercials. Also who could forget the advertising campaign for transformers where pretty much everything had an explosion in it. Hell the universal icon on their social networking sites had explosions behind them

Agreed. Too many are focusing on the whole family bs while Universal is building attractions of full hype, adrenalin and excitement.

I seriously doubt it... it isn't planned to be opening until 2017.

If this project is as massive as been rumored then construction will probably be close to two years. In any case, if it is the plot of land by I4 at least it will be a little easy to spy

I have no idea about the rest. Only been told Wondersea should be soon.

KidZone and anything else happening at CityWalk would require go ahead from Universal's partners.

Kong, I'm willing to be, we won't hear about until next year

EDIT: Oh, I'm expecting to hear about Hotel 5 around the same time as Wondersea. That's not insider info or anything, just a gut feeling.
