Unless everything I've heard is wrong, I wouldn't expect it to be very fast

Personally speaking this;

Could it be possible on how its drivable that its due to there being Multiple ride tracks that you can choose?

Take for instance, in the ride vehicle; theres a certain individual that drives the track, but then theres three other guests that collects power-ups and weapons to move faster or to cause issues for other cars.

The driver has a touch screen that allows him/her to at certain points, move left or right. That way, that driver chooses at that certain times of the attraction on going on different experiences.

And if that driver doesn't choose, then possibly it chooses for them?

Its just a brief idea; but if were personally talking about drivable cars, I think its possible that they'll go within that route.

If it's not Radiator Springs Racer then it has to be Tomorrowland Speedway.

Good ideas never go away at Imagineering or Universal Creative. Look at the way Van Helsing became Forbidden Journey.

They put a lot of work and development into the original concept for the Sylvester McMonkey McBean's Very Unusual Driving Machines, but never finished them due to budget and technological limitations of the time. What if they revive that idea but with more speed (and on the ground). If I remember correctly, the vehicles were supposed to be individually controlled for speed, and would have even collided with each other along the tracks. I would guess that some of that technology they already worked on could be used.

Okay so:

1) No screens.
2) Not strictly a shooter at least
3) Not TT/RSR-esque
4) Not very fast
5) Heavy themeing, animatronics
6) Racing characters and other guests

Since actual go karts would be an absolute mechanical and operational nightmare for an E-ticket ride at a world class theme park, I can't imagine them doing that in a traditional sense. So either we have some sort of trackless vehicle that gives the rider(s) a limited amount of control or an Autopia-esque buss bar with multiple rows/tracks next to each other, and guests being able to control their speed during the ride and race others.

...clearly we'll be speculating til our heads start spinning, close down KidZone already plz Universal. I want to live to see whatever the heck this insanity is going to be.

After reviewing youtube, and in order to not mislead you all, I'm gonna give you back TT, just slow it down and keep it in the building.

I cannot see a RSR or TT style attraction for either of the parks here regardless of the property used. Heck if anything I see Universal going more vertical with attractions to maximize on the limited amount of space. Transformers is a huge attraction that took the footprint of a building that struggled with housing a HHN house let alone any other type of attraction. With the addition of Kong and now Fast and Furious the limited amount of land around both parks will continue to shrink thus forcing them to be more creative with ride footprints and concepts.

OK, that's more like I was envisioning. To me the best part of experiencing TT is in the building, same with the videos I've seen of RR. So we have a driving experience with probably way more effects, in what ever high tech & new tech effects & experiences (path or movement choices) available & maybe a few AA's to boot. And possibly in a multi story building like HTF & Disneyhead talked about, except it's indoors.

If they give us the ability to drift, it will make it seem faster than what it really is. Especially if racing another kart.

Indeed you did, I was merely adding the multi story space saving point back into the conversation.

I didn't even take it that way... I just thought everyone misunderstood the hint back then and that you and you and DH were being sharp and guessing well based on my TT clearance.

Universal has become a master at utilizing space, but the possibilities of this land makes me wish they'd save it for third gate or even a boutique park experience. Let Illumination take over KidZone with new family attractions.

Who says something Nintendo won't make it to the third gate? They have rights to all the characters. To me it seems the area in USF could possibly be focusing mostly on Mario and other series associated with him like Donkey Kong. If that's all they did it would be a complete waste.

And heck no to a boutique park. I'm not spending extra money on a separate expensive ticket from my annual pass. Would be such a cheap move.
