My guess (or hope), 2 major are Mario Kart and DK Mine Cart Coaster and 2 minor would be Yoshi flat rides. Maybe a carousel and Egg/Teacup ride. Or would "minor" be more than that?

No, minor would be flat rides and the like.

I'm also not counting M&Gs as attractions.

Well, especially how Uni does them, they're not really attractions. I guess some at Dis could be considered attractions, like Princess Fairytale Hall...but yea

If this doesn't have a decent Pokemon attraction, my Son will be majorly disappointed since I've told him about possibility of a Nintendo park or park section.

You should probably prepare him for disappointment now.

Nintendo doesn't even own Pokemon. It has only been published for their devices I believe.

Pokemon can always be used as part of whatever happens to Toon Lagoon.

It's partially owned by Nintendo.

For anyone interested, here is a post explaining the ownership of Pokemon. It is quite confusing, but the post does a good job explaining it. I'd post the whole thing here, but it's kind of long and Skip already mentioned that Pokemon won't be part of what they are doing at the parks currently so no point in taking up too much space about it. If you are interested in the ownership situation though, can go to the link and read the first post (link is to a well known gaming forum):

I think Pokémon and Legend of Zelda would be two prime projects for either the third park or IoA.

If IoA, LoZ could replace Lost Continent and Pokémon Toon Lagoon

Maybe if Jurassic World is in the new park Zelda could take over half of JP and something else goes in the other half.

Let's do that. That way we can get a secret tunnel behind a portrait of Arianna Dumbledore that can lead to a Great Hall Dining experience. It's line would pretend to wrap under the great hall. In the books the kitchen is directly underneath the hall. You can have a magical ceiling with shadows of the four house tables and diners. The kitchen would have house elf aas and magical cooking equiptment. It would help explain why were underground for a bit.

To bring up another Nintendo related topic the store in New York closed a few days ago and when it reopens the new name will be Nintendo NY. Now, when I saw the news I wondered if it was because maybe Nintendo World would be used as the name of the land and they didn't want the store to have the same name. I also wondered if we would see Nintendo Orlando and Hollywood stores at each respective CityWalk (I sure hope so).

I think it's a no brainer to turn one of the stores in CityWalk into a Nintendo store (and maybe a small arcade?). Easy way to hype the addition.

"Nintendo World" is a good land name, if not a bit generic

Plus if they did do what I hope and split the series that don't mesh together like Zelda and Mario having one called "Nintendo World" would be weird. It was just a thought anyway.

If they do build stores at CityWalk the perfect time to make the announcement would be at the New York stores grand reopening next month.

I like Nintendoland, but they might not want to have people associate it with the video game.
