I don't remember his Avatar but he did use his name. I only remember some of his posts where he got pretty upset with the people that criticized Disney management. But, as I said before, I never saw the alleged meltdown posts. I thought it was quite ironic that he supported Disney so strongly and then either was fired or forced to resign. Then he got quickly hired by Universal in a kind of a secondary role. A really strange situation.

I guess it wasn't him then. I just remember a guy who came on when the Frozen refurd "rumor" was first gaining steam.

I believe Sorrel's meltdown was on Twitter. I also believe he is the lead Creative on Fallon. Not sure his involvement on Nintendo.

Considering all we're hearing about it, it sounds great and whoever's working on it is doing a good job, which is all that really matters

That would make sense. That's why I probably never saw the meltdown. Do you remember what the meltdown was about? Domestic issues?

He "created" the blog post on the UOR blog about the project plus his Twitter account has shown many trips to NBC in NYC before and after the attractions official announcement.

Guys lets drop this now, he probably wants to move on from it so lets not dwell on this. Thanks.

Or to bring up some good old USF nostalgia and have a perfect crossover on some merchandise (Ghostbuster Luigi Amiibo anyone?)..........

Obviously I was completely underestimating just how much effort is being put into this project even knowing that a Diagon Alley level of effort at minimum is what we've been hearing from those more in the know. I figured that the area would have the major Mario Kart attraction as its sole major attraction and two minor attractions with the same incredible theming and attention to detail we've come accustomed to.

I had no idea that the land would majorly (non meet & greet only) represent IPs other than Mario. Though Donkey Kong is heavily associated with the Mario universe, DK getting his own attraction as a resurrection of the old JP cavern coaster along with what has already been discussed is far more than I would have imagined to be within the realm of possibility. I'm hopeful that the attraction will be at least the same intensity as Seven Dwarves, if not slightly more thrilling.

I didn't think I could be more excited for this addition, but I certainly am.

USO will truly become a full day park with this addition. The sheer number of attractions (regardless of the "screenz" argument) in the park is already somewhat impressive. Though Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year, my friends and I were unable to experience anywhere near all of the attractions available during our visit a few weeks ago (Missed: Shrek, Minions, Transformers, Simpsons) in the 9 hours we were there. With F&F, Fallon, DK Mine Cart, Mario Kart, and possibly even Life of Pets (haven't kept up with the news on the LoP), the park will be a ridiculously full experience even on low attendance days.

Are we willing to bet they'll sell handheld consoles in the land, and Universal exclusive ones at that? It'd make for one pretty crafty, sweet souvenir.

I know for a fact at USJ during the Universal Cool events, they have rooms where people play their DS and pretty much use the street thing on the device to trade stuff and play against each other.

I would buy a 3DS/NX embossed with the Universal logo without hesitation.

Living in Florida I would totally wait for my next Uni trip to get one if that was the case

Same intensity as SDMT would be perfect. But it has to be longer. Much longer.

I've already got a 3DS XL and I'd sell it immediately to get a Universal one!

Universal Studios is already a full day park by far, especially with Diagon which is at least a half day, if not a full day, for a vacation tourist or first time visitor if they explore all the experiences. With Nintendo, it'll definitely require at least one and a half to two days to properly experience everything (rides & shows) if you don't have Express. (It's different, of course, for local AP holders, who can pick & choose what they do on a trip)

I have one too, Gold Zelda :)

What I meant was waiting for NX. Or I could sell my 3DS too cause I assume whatever they release would be one of the New 3DS's, which I don't have.

A DK mine cart coaster is probably what I'm most looking forward to... I've wanted to ride one in real life ever since I first played Donkey Kong Country. I'm really hoping it's the full experience.

I'd rather have Captain Toad. On the other gand , DK could give us a great indoor jungle setting.

SDMT's length is fine. It's its layout that's the problem
