Switch 2's gimmick is seemingly getting cleared out--and the answer is that they might be allowing you to use the Joy-con's as if they are a mouse for a PC.

Similar example of this (as teased by NextHandheld) is similar to that of a Lenovo Legion Go's Mouse Mode.

I don’t think this by itself is “the big feature” but rather an expansion of the “play how you want” philosophy behind the Switch in general. The second USB-C port will likely be used for various attachments as well.

The running theory is that old Joy-Con may be able to connect wirelessly but not to the console itself for obvious size related reasons. As an unrelated example Sony lets you connect DualShock 4’s to the PS5 but only to play PS4 games.

I can mostly live with this

But I just perfer Xbox way of just letting all controllers work

I get it if its a game that needs the new controller but Mario Kart....I mean if you like me plug in a Gamecube controller that would work for Mario Kart on switch

According to Nate, big Microsoft support is apparently coming to NSW2 through the means of Flight Simulator 2024 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Additionally, it seems the plan is that previously released XBOX titles will get next gen patches for free.

FFVIIRemake is also 2025, with Rebirth in 2026.

If I had to guess what they find funny is all the people online thinking the leaks are hurting nintendo and going to force them to announce. They probably care about companies leaking their system look, but they know all this stuff will not change sales. There is no reason to change their plans only the online super fans know or care. They probably want to announce it with a pre-sale date lined up so no reason to rush.

Playing MCC on a Nintendo console would be insane but I already bought it on my Steam Deck for $10 though I haven’t started it yet. Give me Indiana Jones and Doom: The Dark Ages and I’ll be happy.

We're at the point where people are really just saying stuff. I remember when September 2024 was 110% gonna be the announcement. We're so close to reveal and launch that I'm just waiting patient for the actual reveal.

It just sounds like the guy is describing the launch of Switch 1. January reveal, March Release, Mario Kart 8, Skyrim, Mario Odyssey announcement. Like, it's a possible timeline, but it's also stupid easy to come up with.
