I figured as much, it was the quickest "Old School" thing I could find, and while not Universal Studios, it was at least in the ballpark.

while i appreciate you trying to get this thread back on topic it is under "Universal Studios Florida" and the title is "Old School USF"

lets get back on topic with this:

a little behind the scenes of ghostbusters spooktacular

Great link thanks for sharing, makes you really miss it that much more you know. As for the IOA commercial and after watching several other Universal Escape ads its a no brainer as to why the advertising department was looking for new jobs in the year 2000. How the hell was anyone to know it was a new RESORT with nightlife and a new park?

http://www.universalorlando.com/Shows/Universal-Studios-Florida/Horror-Make-Up-Show.aspx

On Universal's page for the show it mentions "Please Note: This show is currently closed and will reopen later this week." and then further down the page it lists the show times for this full week.

Didn't think this deserved it's on thread and I couldn't find a horror make up thread. But in other news, within the past months the Horror Make Up got some nice new chairs, the others had no padding left.

I like how Soundstage 22 is non existant.

Not sure what you meant by this. The grand courtyard, the bowl theater, the roller-coaster... those were very very well thought out ideas from a design standpoint. Brilliant yet logical. I saw what was probably the last of the graveyard... it was as pathetic as it looked in the video.

I'm not saying I like it not being there, I'm saying that it's cool not seeing it there and in its place a patch of grass. When you see the same thing so many times and become use to it, pictures like that are weird but fun to look at.

Your welcome! The guy that is in this video currently works at Men In Black!

nope he does not. that guy in the video is Shane Marr

Sorry if this has already been posted in the past, but I just noticed this when I visited on Monday:

It's on one of the cars in front of Mel's Drive-In. Yeah old school logo!!

^ there are people that still have that as their front plate here in Florida. Is it still sold in the parks or are these people just hyper nostalgic?

The one I bought was still sealed and price tagged from Universal. So it's possible, but I don't remember seeing any.
