Of course they are, they're Disney.

But at DAK, there isn't much that breaks from the theme I outlined. Finding Nemo is blurring the lines, but I think Zootopia would be going way too far in breaking overall theme.

You forgot, "What if fish had feelings again" for Pixar, 2016: ;)

The same could be said for cars and toy story sequels
Speaking of Cars.

I always think of Radiator Springs when thinking about Avatar Land simply because Cars wasn't that good of a film, in fact it's the only film I have ever walked out of a cinema during the film but Radiator Springs was incredible and I think it Avatar Land will have the same effect.

I think it raises an interesting point of what's the worst movie with the best ride or vice versa.

I wonder if any of their creature designs from the upcoming "Saga" will be included in the land. I would imagine that JC has lots of designs and sketches already in place. Seems short sighted to base the land of one movie.

If it was an attraction/ show. That would have to be Water World.

I'd have to agree, since DAK is more about man's relationship with nature/conservation. Not talking animals.

Personally, I think talking/anthropomorphic animals would be an interesting "next step" for DAK. We have animals that exist, animals that are extinct, animals that are mythical, freakin' alien animals, so I think "evolved animals that exist without humans" could be interesting too. As long as it's secluded off DL-style (so you can't see Zootopia from Africa and vice versa) I think it'd work. However, I can understand why people are against/don't think it'd work too. It's a YMMV thing, I guess. (Although, I feel like if DAK gets any form of expansion soon after Pandora, it'd be Zootopia-related. Because it's made so much $$$ and Disney loves $$$.)

If it was to come to DAK, this would be a must. This is why i've suggested Rafiki's for it's placement.

Please replace Raficki with anything. Poison Ivy would be an improvement.

Isn't Rafiki's the main hospital center or something for the animals? I'm not sure how it works, although I'm sure it'd be relatively easy to relocate, or maybe they can keep the facilities and just have Zootopia be immediately by them. Then scrap the boring train and create a Zootopia Monorail, and create some sort of other way to get back there (from Asia, maybe) to prevent even bigger bottlenecks than they get now.

Not at all - they would never have their real animal care area onstage in guest view. Imagine seeing sick critters dying (which happens, hate to break it to you) front and center with big glass windows.

Ooh, I gotcha. If that's the case, bulldoze Rafiki's for all I care. Some of the exhibits there are interesting, but they could easily have been located elsewhere in the park and not in the current poor location.

Just finished watching Avatar in its entirety and it makes complete sense why it belongs in Animal Kingdom. So beautifully done and with such a great message. Excited for this new land.

I just wish they weren't making any new movies. How can Disney guarantee that future films will be appropriate for the Disney brand.

I don't know if this has been discussed yet but how are the mountains going to be appear to float?

Is there going to be transparent supports or a layer of fog in the sky or something else?

I believe the likely theory is that the supports will be disguised/themed to look like vines.

Ya, I believe there was more detailed concept art and a scale model shown that had vines where the current curved support beams are.
