They wouldn’t be. They have PCI (Pandora Conservation Initiative) logos on them so they’re new to aid in the ongoing research and not for like war stuff. Also explains the color selection.

Overall idea is fine... just the look is awful. Maybe if they covered the legs?

Yes...It's the legs that really mess it up. They should have just designed it so it looks like an entire exo skeleton, then it would be OK. The fake legs make it look soooo amateurish.

Yuck. This looks comically bad.

Honestly, it looks like a Chinese knockoff of Transformers.

FWIW, I didn’t actually notice that the legs were fake until everybody pointed it out to me. Disney has been very specific with the camera angles on these videos though.

I get the intention of the design on a conceptual level, and in that respect it's kind of neat.

In execution, though... really don't think it holds up.

He already made an appearance today!

Look at the slashes on his right leg. Guess that illustrates how dangerous Pandora can be, and why researches may need such a heavy suit.

They should have a Battle of the Fake Legs winner survives match between this travesty and that ridiculous short lived dino creature they had at AK a few years ago.

Yeah, it’s curious that this design is drawing ire. For me, it’s as if Disney is trying too hard and at the same time not trying hard enough. The whole Pandora thing strikes me this way.

Universal on the other hand has books or a library of films on a subject with a backstory to create from. Transformers to Jurassic to Potter... they really think it out and take the execution very seriously.

That’s my personal opinion anyway.

this looks like a parody of avatar not something Disney would actually put in the avatar land.Worst part is at 2:39 there is a better version behind it all they had to do is make the cockpit open and the guy just would just talk out of it.

Now that spring break crowds have subsided, both FOP & Navii River had decent level times on their stand by lines so far this afternoon.

Your opinion is similar to mine, hell Disney's "we know better" is what lost Potter for them.

This still looks bad and Pandora doesn't fit in DAK, IMHO.
