Doesn't seem like it will be hard to pull off. I envision it being completely screen based, using a Soarin-esque ride system, starting in his studio. Something will happen and Jimmy will have to find something or want to give you a tour of NYC. It will probably be pretty cheesy, but it will be what it will be. He'll probably narrate for the most part if what I envision comes to life. Think of O Canada! at Epcot, narrated by Martin Short, except with a Soarin system.Look guys, this is Comcast upping the NBC presence in the parks. They are using their "star"'that relates most to the theme park demo. This is Universal Creative being tasked with "We want a Jimmy Fallon/NBC ride! Make it so, Number One."
No one has a clue how the H E L L they are going to pull off a Jimmy Fallon ride using a flight simulator ride system. Out of everything going on, this is what I'm most curious about. It is going to take some real creativity to pull this off. I'm am fascinated with this project.
this sounds like a competition project. I would love for Universal to go to the students of themed entertainment, hold a competition where the winner's ride gets built.
Attendance will be much higher than Twister and they'll sell more crap, which is really all they care about anyway.
