Maybe the steel will be exposed in the queue and visible to guests? White definitely looks better than the color of rust.

I may be beating a dead horse here, but what type of ride system are they going to be using?

You are correct, you are beating a dead horse for an answer I have given many times on here. Sorry, but I get frustrated.

I only say that because I feel to be in the minority of people who are really interested on how this ride turns out, especially the facade. It's quite aggravating to come here and read something that's been discussed.

No hard feelings, I just feel like when the thread isn't busy and nothing new is being talked about, the forums serve another purpose. It stores tons of information on ride and queue details, it doesn't take much to just skim over and refresh your memory.

It will be a simulator system...similar to 'Europe in the Air' at Busch Gardens Williamsburg...if I'm correct

I have seen some bad reviews about the CGI on the new Soarin' film. I hope UC takes a look at that and does a better job than Disney.

The CGI isn't bad on Soarin'. It's actually pretty good except for the Taj Mahal which looks ridiculously fake. Aside from that, my critique of the CGI used is that too many things happen in a row to believe that somehow this camera was flown over at the exact moment that all these things happened. It kinda takes you out of the moment. Oh and they CG Epcot at the end for the return. Which makes no sense because you could just fly over the real one and get the shot.

The only Epcot CG is the fireworks. I distinctly remember reading about a real flyover for the film when they did it.

Teebin has stated that it was Dynamic Attractions in the past. Page 39 has a video of a similar theater. I had initially scanned through the first 22 pages to find the answer.

^ That was what I was hoping for way back when. It is not going to be that after all. It will be a big flat floor with 70 or so seats on it that tips and and bobs much like the spiderman ride vehicles. Could someone post a pic or video of that flying over Europe thingy at Williamsburg.

So it's like Minions Mayhem but on a bigger platform. That's a bummer.

The second video reminds me of the Stars Tours simulator at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I feel like this falls in the same category as Shrek and Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem. Was really hoping for something more...:(

Not sure what you are looking at. Looks nothing like either of those rides. I actually enjoy Minion Mayhem for what it is, but this new ride looks so much better.

As I've said before, I was on the BGW simulator a good number of times when it was the two shows before the terrible Europe in the Air. The previous two shows were fairly good. If Fallon uses a simulator similar to this one, it could potentially have "way" more movement than Despicable Me or Shrek or Star Tours. I've been on those three and there's no comparison. Those three are not in the same movement category. They are much much milder. The BGW simulator had so much movement on the first two rides before Europe In the Air, that it was somewhat prone to motion sickness.(Example I used before; In one scene, you were shrunk to fairy size and put in a pouch on a galloping Unicorn. There was so much bumping movement you would have sworn you were really in that pouch on the Unicorn, and you were dizzy & ready to throw up by the time the scene ended. And the rest of the ride was similar) If Fallon has a good story, and they utilize this platform to it's potential, it could be a fairly fun thrilling attraction. But, of course, I'm going on the assumption that Fallon will have the same capabilities of the BGW simulator.
