This is the most overextended and hostile exchange regarding leg tickling that I’ve ever seen.

Exactly, there’s literally no need whatsoever for any of that to have taken the turn that it did.

If you experienced them that’s great, if you didn’t that’s great too. Until we have concrete proof, let’s try to keep the temperature down.

This would have gone over much more smoothly if we had all gotten our CUPS OF COFFEE!!!

One thing I will admit to not knowing for years until I went on a VIP tour for work was that in the "coffee" scene, Brendan Fraiser snuck an "AHHH-FEELS GOOD-AHHHH!" into his scream when he was being attacked. I can't unhear it now.

Orlando had them. The same way I can remember specific, trivial moments about a HHN from 2002, is how I explicitly remember my shock they put leg ticklers on a coaster.

And I’ve never been to Hollywood, so it’s not like I’m getting them confused.

After some deep thought I'm confident as well. It sticks with me very vividly for a reason and that was yeeeearss ago.

I believe everybody here is reporting their recollections in good faith.

If the effect did exist, it's one of the most frequently broken in history. Or I'm extraordinarily unlucky.

I’ll throw another curve ball into the discussion and go on record stating I did not feel leg ticklers on ROTM USH the one time I rode it during HHN 2016.

Surely someone here has either worked Revenge of the Mummy or is familiar with someone who does. Can anyone with firsthand or at least secondhand knowledge confirm whether the leg ticklers were ever installed and/or operated? We know from journalistic reports (I can probably find one) that they were only added to Hollywood *after* the ride's initial opening as part of a wave of incremental improvements.

I have to say I remember things happening to my legs as well. Felt like air blowing on them and I heard the air going off.

Could someone just run over there tomorrow and check the ride vehicles to give us an actual answer and put this to rest?

That assumes that the RV's haven't had changes in 16 years.

Can’t we ask a creator on Twitter? Who was the head designer?

I couldn’t find Mike Hightower on Twitter, but maybe one of these people.

When there's no instances of people saying the USF ride had them until just recently in this thread and elsewhere on this site(as far back as 2008, trust me I've done the homework before jumping in because I thought I was misremembering) one has to believe that some are not correct about this. I've ridden this ride a lot. Up until Hagrid it was my favorite ride on-property, and I make sure to ride it multiple times a trip. And pre-Covid, I was a passholder that went multiple times a week. If they were there, and I had ridden say 200 times since '05, wouldn't I have experienced them at some point? I'm no mathematician, but the odds don't work out on that.

I have no stake, I do not believe I have ever experienced leg ticklers on this ride, I seldom notice the water spray. One way you could miss it with all those rides (just tossing out a theory) is if the effect was only in one car. That would make it random enough to never catch it (esp if it did not last long). Again, just wanted to add a theory that could explain the different memories.

Me (after I passed the half century point), I full on know memories are not always 100% reliable, but STATs tend to work better than I'll ever admit to!

You guys remember the HHN 2020 Spec thread? This really reminds me of that.. gets me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Also - THAT'S WHAT FRASER IS YELLING? I always heard people say "listen closely to what he says" but I have NEVER been able to make it out. Thank you so much.

It was always hard for me to catch because in all my rides I never got held far enough back on the brakes to catch the full scene- always pulling into unload right when Brendan starts screaming. But if you manage to hear it once(idk if they're still doing the 'secret' tours but that could be an option), you'll never un-hear it.
