Update:

The zoning has already been requested and approved for the Hotel 5 plot, and permits have been filed for trailers to begin working on "Project 402" which will be doing something with the conference/event spaces in Royal pacific, possibly in preperation for the connection to the event space in the new resort.

I doubt it will be that quick. My guess is 2016.

Cabana Bay was announced in July 2012 and opened in March & June 2014. If I were a betting man, I'd also place my money on a 2016 opening (at the earliest).

I know we now know this resort isn't a straight expansion, but Universal has filed a Notice of Commencement for Project 664, which we've been told is the fifth hotel. We should see some movement soon.

Confirmation that the Royal Pacific will receive an expansion of meeting space, planning to open by Fall 2015.
