Is there a way to post those photos in this forum? When I click on the photo links in the article it just freezes up.

Probably because it's Hi-Res images. I'll correct it.

Not sure if it is just the model or the rendering but those beds look more like Portofino's than the other resort beds.

I'd place my bets on Royal Pacific losing express... stopping express at RP for rooms booked after Sapphire opens, but honoring those that were booked before.

The survey I alluded to earlier had a ton of questions concerning Express. They also had myriad potential hotel categories & their amenities. One constant, though, that no matter the name used for the top tier, Express was always included for the top tier hotels. Sounds like something they intend on keeping, otherwise they would have had scenario's listed that didn't include Express for top tier levels. From that survey, I would strongly believe that Express will be maintained for Portofino & Hard Rock or any other "new" hotel that was included in that category. Royal Pacific is the wildcard though. Perhaps, if they build another new hotel on the level of Portofino or Hard Rock, they will add Express to that hotel & strip it from RP with a re negotiation with Lowe's, who would probably be operating a new hotel anyway. The other side of the coin is that they would keep some form of Express for RP since that would make it easier to market to conventions. Just my opinions though.

Well then, I would created a "Limited Express" for the moderates. 3-5 attractions per park. You tell me which...

Don't they already have a limited express that is once per day per attraction as opposed to unlimited uses?

Perhaps. I am trying to limit it more. 3-5 attractions per park, one time only.

BTW, I guess I didn't know what unlimited express meant. I thought all express was a one ride per attraction per day.

The Express you can buy is limited to one ride per attraction while the hotel express is unlimited for the attractions that have express.

I would definitely look for this a year or so after Volcano Bay opens. Depending on a couple of things, I would count on Universal adopting a very MM+-esque tech.

Anyone can buy the unlimited Express, too.

Thanks for that! I would put new limits all the whole shebang and spread it out a bit more. It is quite the perk any way you cut it!

Not sure putting Sapphire and RPR in the same category is a great idea from a guest perspective considering the differing perks.

Also, you have to figure "Value" is on its way if Cabana is described as "Prime Value". Most likely since whatever the next value will be won't be "on property" so to speak
I can see why you'd say that, but RPR is $100 more per night than Saphire, meaning that even accounting for Express, the hotel is still more expensive than RPR. Plus, most of the year, it isn't worth the "Up to $89 value" and can get it cheaper buying it in the parks).

Potentially if the Major blvd plot gets bought for a 3rd park down the line, they could build a Premier on that side of the road.

The Premier AP has that for after 4, but i'm not sure if they sell it any other way.
