Exactly, I don't have any kids (only puppies) but I can see the need for movies that don't make parents go crazy.

You wanna cruel and unusual punishment for being a parent? Sit through a Spy Kids movie, or Veggie Tales. Please NO MORE freaky talking cucumbers with floating arms. Give me an evil bunny any day over THAT.

Our funny Disney story. My son had such a look of horror on his first/only small world ride we used it as a threat for poor behavior while in the parks. At Universal we use Terminator. :whoo:

My kids missed the Barney time. My daughter did have a strange love/hate relationship with The Bear in the Big Blue House. She was terrified by his sniffing, and often ran out of the room yelling "tell me when he stops sniffing"

When my kids were little this type of movie was exactly what I looked for to get them their theater experience. Something short sweet and easy. Things don't have to be complicated to amuse children. It isn't about great movie making, but more about creating something that children will enjoy, and parents can stand sitting through.

The point is also to make a movie that people distinctly remember too and create a connection between the audience and the characters. This movie is just sort of meh. Will it be remembered after these next few weeks? I honestly don't know. I can't even remember most of the characters names.

It would be smart to add a SLOP float to the SSP because we all know it needs some help.

Went to see Pets and Dori back to back last Sunday. I have to say I enjoyed both but Pets came on top for me... definitely made me laugh more. Dori was great, but it was a sequel. I bet Ellen was very happy because the whole movie was all about Dori, and Marlin and Nemo were like bottom of the list secondary characters. I have to say at least the main (new) secondary characters were really good, but there was something about Nemo that Dori didn't have.... but I cant tell what it was.

I don't remember Disney's Dinosaur and yet Aladar and the Carnotaurus have their own ride at Animal Kingdom.

And I've never seen Song of the South, but Splash Mountain has always been one of my all time favorite rides. Sometimes even a movie without a lasting impression on the world can still make for a good ride or theme park area (Avatar comes to mind).

PS. Their names are Max, Duke, Gidget, Chloe, Snowball, Mel, Buddy, and Herman. And I love them. Their movie may be mediocre, but I loved the characters themselves... I'm a dork.

Not saying it won't be a good ride, just saying that the movie itself was fairly forgettable to me.

My favorites were Herman and Snowball. I loved Snowball.
I think the characters have potential to grow more. The movie was short, so I kinda feel like we only just got introduced to them.

I can't wait to hear stories of parents brining their kids to this movie thinking it's a kids movie and the horror that ensues. I wonder how far into the movie they will realize what's happening.

I remember people going into video stores and seeing Japanese Hentai (porn) animation.

Guest A: That looks pretty adult.

Guest B: How bad can it be? It's a cartoon.

So many people think animation is just for kids.

I had no idea this was a raunchy comedy, I seriously thought it was a real kids film ...and then the humans started eating the food... My mind was blown. I should have known better. Those female buns looked VERY familiar. At first I thought, man those buns kind of resemble a...
