Confusion aside I am with unird. How can this seriously be THAT revolutionary? What can this animate movie about pets bring that goes above and beyond everything in this insane technologically advanced resort? I'm not saying universal can't, I'm just asking how?

I think it's coming to USH either 2017 or spring 2018. Trailers are already onsite next to the former SS28 plot to start vertical construction. Electrical and plumbing was already installed underneath last year, which will speed things along.

Build should start very soon.

While I would love to see a trackless dark ride at UOR.......I would be OK with SLOP being a Hollywood "exclusive" and use the ride tech for another IP at UOR. I'd hate to see another "Transformers" randomly plopped down somewhere although the Shrek plot wouldn't be a horrible placement.

Why not? Not more than a very small number of people will ever visit both parks. If it's a good or great attraction, I'd want to experience it on a Orlando vacation, whether it's in another Universal park, be it USA or Asia.

I've got a good idea, for there's still awesome things with trackless darkrides that have yet to be tapped into. Heck with TDL's Pooh's Hunny Hunt it features a glimpse of a particular feature with great potential...yet no one has done it yet.

Chances are, that particular feature is what SLoP is going to take advantage of.

The random ride plopped down on a dead zone that added to the park's capacity and overall attraction count? That didn't bother me, but opinions are opinions

I agree. Universal has terrible ride placement. However, it might be a good idea for them to variate from themed lands a bit so they can have full flexibility of replacements and streetscape.

Transformers had comics too, but it started as a toy/cartoon show.

Kong is also a movie and not originating in literature

One could argue that a script is literature. Any writing in verse or prose=literature. I'll try not to create an English discussion over this, but I couldn't resist since this is brought up occasionally about IOA.
