Weird attraction name since I don't see a single character named Norman in the cast of characters for the movie.

Norman is the name of the hamster in the movie.

That's what I get for starting and stopping at Wikipedia. So, the ride will be from the perspective of a hamster?

If that's really the title, I guess. Maybe everything will be larger than life like the Ratatouille ride.

If that's the case I'm highly doubting the use of many AA's. They'd have to be HUGE.

He's also saying a second gate at USH is in the very early stages.

They could only do it by removing more sound stages and some backlot I guess

The whole tram tour northeast area (water tank, spielberg crashed plane) would probably be large enough for another park. The film studio is a break even location. I would build middle class America sets in a field in North/South Carolina. Hell build a few soundstages too.

Yup. Between this and Sing this year, Universal has a lot of characters they can add to the park in the form of parades, meet-and-greets, etc. Who would've thought Universal's animation output would be the one to rival Disney's?

Honestly, I think Trolls is the down-low animated movie to look out for later this year (and looks to be MUCH better than Sing). It's an animated musical featuring Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake as leads.

Sing translate way more towards synergy for Comcast than trolls which looks like a rip off of the Smurfs mainly its a kid's version of Moulin Rouge about a guy trying to save his theatre by holding a singing competition which could easily be a replacement for Beetlejuice for IOA. The main reason Sing and SLOP may not do as well is due to the fact 4 kids films coming out this year involved humanized animals.

I really wonder what the AA is that is more impressive though

My guess would be an AA of Duke.

ETA: I'm more interested in Pets over Sing after finally watching the trailer for the latter.

Well obviously it translates more synergy since Sing is an Illumination film and Trolls is Dreamworks.

Starting to hope they changed their mind and this will go into USF and not IoA. This is the best opportunity we have to take out Shrek, IMO

It's also a good way to start redoing Toon Lagoon. (Armchair Imagineering Incoming!!!) SLoP takes over the unused theater, an AA show based on Sing if it does well (something missing from Universal), and then whatever else they want.

I'd rather they put TSoP in IOA and move DM over there with an expanded area and possible second ride.

That would allow for a complete redo of both Shrek/DM buildings at the front of the park.

Sure, if we were playing Roller Coaster Tycoon that'd be great. Realistically I doubt that'd happen.

TL is in better shape than Shrek. Dudley and Popeye are good to great rides. The rest of the land is whatever, but I'd much rather get rid of an embarrassing attraction like Shrek.
