The Kong AA is spectacular. You have a good 20-30 seconds of slow moving ride to really take him in. And he gets up close and personal.

I can live with that...Universal really has been its own competition as of late...If this is better than Gringotts I'm sure it is a home run

It's also worth remembering that it has been a decade (or more) since WDW attempted a ride of this scale -- when you add FJ, Gringotts, Transformers, and now Kong, Universal is the place that has become the place tourists associate with high-tech attractions.

WDW is the place for tourists of a certain age to get their nostalgia fix. Interesting that Kong is both high-tech and nostalgic for many of us.

So glad to hear that this isn't Yeti 2.0 (a quick glimpse of an AA that you don't have time to admire).

Also sounds like strobing the Kong AA isn't a possibility, which puts the onus on them to maintain this showpiece. It seems like Universal has upped their AA game.

That sums it up pretty well....... And, not only can't I wait to go on the ride, I'm equally excited to experience this fantastic queue. FJ, Gringotts, Kong take queues to a whole new level.

Can you tell us more about this AA slug? In the ride or queue?

In a glass case in the queue. It moves as you walk by.

It looks like a ride you will be able to take a bag on. Can anyone who has rode this confirm you can ride with your backpack?

Aaaah! I desperately wondered how it would be presented. This was one of my dreamy options.

If I was a betting man, Softs are going to happen tomorrow. They wouldn't have the walls down and the Technical rehearsal signs up for nothing..
