Okay, here's my ultimate Throwback Thursday: Two years of Kongstruction in 2 (ish) minutes.



It's gonna be hard to fill this giant ape-sized hole in my life now that this thing is built. (Nintendoland needs to hurry up and get started, amirite!)

I wonder if they ever have space to do a kind of ritual show.
Like how Wizarding World has a Frog Choir and such, and how HHN had that Voodoo show.
Wouldn't be perfect to walk up to ROK, and there's a bunch of tribal people beating drums with a person tied up?
Talk about atmosphere.

It truely has been a great experience watching it rise... Unless there are truely exciting new things leaked abour F&F I don't see myself getting as excited. I need Nintendo Land construction to start! I need my fix! Lol

Universal sure accomplished a lot with a fairly small plot of land. Yes, it will be a few years until I get this excited about an attraction again. After Diagon Alley & Kong, the stuff in the next couple of years is going to be real pedestrian. From home runs to infield singles (Fallon) and bloop doubles down the line (F&F)....Nintendo land looks further away all the time.

I mean, it's still early-ish, but I don't like what i'm hearing about Supercharged so far.

I think Fallon may be considered "good for what it is." Considering the puny size of the plot and the source material they're being forced to work with, Race Through New York maybe as good as you can get with that. F&F, though? It has the hugest plot on property, based on a very big IP that anyone can imagine an attraction for... yet it's being wasted on a clone of the disliked Hollywood tour attraction, that even insiders and some of Uni's biggest fans can't get remotely excited for.

Yeah most of us are going to be sitting around anxiously waiting for Nintendo now. Fallon and Fast and the Furious just don't have anything hype-wise going for them compared to Diagon, Hogsmeade, Transformers, or Kong. They really both just seem like 'filler' attractions.

They are preloading Kong queue into the walkway under Ptereradon Flyers.

They told us on Monday softs wouldn't start till 4:30 at the latest. I was getting off the ride around that time.

I've been hearing a lot of people having super glitchy experiences with Kong. I know its a tech rehearsal so its expected but man did I luck out. I was hoping the entire ride to Universal, " I hope we dont make this drive and have shitty experience." Man did we luck out. It was 100% operational at the time. I didn't see a single flub.

Yeah, they said 5 but I think I will head back over in a few minutes. At least they gave most of the line a place in the shade while they waited in an unofficial line

Still anxiously awaiting someone to post the full map! I live for this kind of stuff. Anyone over at IOA mind getting a full image of the new IOA map featuring Kong with the attraction list and descriptions?

Skull Island is labeled as its own island. All it says underneath is "New ride opening summer 2016!"

Honestly, I'm excited for F&F and Jimmy Fallon. A new attraction is always exciting for me.
Although, I will miss Christopher Walken.

Hi guys, I just wanted to say that I am sitting in Thunder Falls Terrace, waiting to get in line for Kong (and resting from an eventful first day of my first visit)! Feel free to say hi if you see me here, there, or anywhere! I'm wearing a straw hat and a t shirt that is a parody of ET with Harry Potter, and I'm with two others.

Really hoping I will get a chance to experience this, would make an amazing day that much better!
