Assuming there are two vehicles running and they dispatch every 3 minutes, that gives it a hourly capacity of 1,440 (The vehicles seat 72 passengers, correct?).

On the flip-side, it may have the best view of the 360 sequence, much like Hollywoods.

I gotta say, having been on Kong 360 about 50 times...the second and third car (out of four) are the best. That said, these cars are smaller so we'll see.

That's unlikely. More likely a four minute dispatch in that interval.

In that case the capacity would be 1,080

If the ride is about 6mins long, they can't possibly dispatch a vehicle every 3mins as it wouldn't allow any time for loading and unloading. This rises an interesting point though. To boost capacity while only have 2 vehicles, they could possibly use the bypass section of the out door segment to improve on the hourly capacity.

Weirdly, having such a long ride could come back and bite Universal in the ass until they get more vehicles running.

Where are you getting this assumption that there'll only be two vehicles ready to roll on opening day?

There was a poster earlier today that alluded to that. Nothing official or from a second source though.

I wouldn't worry about these only being able to run 2 vehicles currently, when the only true dates they need to have this up and running by are June 22/23rd. That's over two full months to keep working out kinks.

I imagine that any issues that have arisen will be getting fixed off site to make things a bit easier. Hopefully when new vehicles arrive on the 'track', they should be up and running a lot quicker.

For how this vehicle tracking system works if they can have two vehicles running, they should be able to have all the vehicles running.

Sure they might run light the first few days for insurance, but I expect we see them running full soon.

I would hope all vehicles are on site now and either have been making loops or are on standby in the maintenance bay.

Don't expect this thing to soft open or even open with more than 2 RVs at this point. More than two causes the system to not mesh for some reason.

Ummm... They are running three vehicles in cycle as of a very very short time ago (past 24hrs). That said, there remain caveats that I will not go into here. I would feel more secure in saying while 2 is a option/possibility, it has not absolutely been decided yet and probably won't be until the first day they soft. ;)

Phew, I like the sound of three better. Glad they turned that around. While two is doable, three would keep things move a lot faster.

That's interesting because I've been there every day this week around midday to watch testing and I've only ever seen a truck every 15 - 30 minutes. When you say 3 in a cycle wouldn't that mean a truck ever 2 minutes?

Truly excited to see this thing in action! I really love the era this is set in too, I didn't even think about that at first but the expedition rides are set in such a cool era theme wise...

I have no idea. It is likely they are still running in a kind of "manual" mode. That is a fascinating discussion in itself and one I had no idea of prior to this attraction. I ain't discussing that just yet.
