USH's JPRA had a much better finale when I rode recently. They actually had a thin waterfall in front of her which completely hid from site and then the AA lunged forward. We found it really impressive. I know that ride just got back from refurbishment recently and you can tell,

Yeah the ride seemed OK when we went. Everything seemed to be working. However the timing was off in one place at the beginning with the big dino. When we came around the corner it was not moving, then it was and did its thing. But it went back to the resting spot when only half the boat was past it. So the back half just sees it stop. Just seemed odd and off.

She thinks everything is eating her. That is about 90% of her bad dreams. Good news is no one ate her last night, so the clip didn't scare her into nightmares. Looks like when we go in June (as long as softs are happening) she will be riding it.

I hope "pretend" will be ready and on your lips constantly.

BTW, the WWillow is nothing but a kuka arm going up and down. It is a piece of junk. My kitchen aid mixer is more complex.

Ya, timing is completely off for many parts of the ride. I have a few issues with USH's finale though. The final Rex that lunges at you is apparently anti gravity and the Rex just before it is very obviously just a head. I can literally see the steel keeping it up. The Jeep also never works.

The Willow was basically inoperable at Orlando's in September, but I was at Hollywood last week and it was in clear view and working well.

For now...

Agreed. I also really enjoy the overhead AA that rips through the ceiling. It's a shame the environment puts such stress on the AA.

Trust me, it is always on my lips when in a theme park. She sometimes understands it too much as when her peers get excited about meeting a character, she goes to me, but mommy it is just a person dressed as a character. lol We have never told her that, we let her believe in characters, she figured that out on her own. But I use pretend a lot with things like Haunted Mansion, ToT, Jurassic Park, etc. So she is still scared, but she understands a real ghost is not actually following her home.

Yes, please back on topic y'all.

Good to hear they are cycling. Any information if UC/TMs/water dummies are in the vehicles while cycling?

I thought they water dummy tested before anyone could get on. Since CM and crew have already been on, would a water dummy test be needed?

My point is if they're still testing or if they're just cycling. If the later, that's very good news.

Photo's can be deceiving. You might want to wait until you ride.

I don't know why water dummies would be necessary on this attraction. Has anyone seen them used here? If anything, weights of any kind would be satisfactory to test the drag on the batteries.

They were sand bag testing a while back, I haven't seen any water dummies used, think they just did a few days of sand bags

That kind of testing was already done through research before being on site I would be almost sure of it. These things are typically carrying around tons of weight all day in the elements of a shipyard. This is almost light work if you take out the I am presuming hydrolic platforms similar in theory to the Hollywood 360 ones.
