So an area of a DISNEY park aimed at small kids "won't" be a draw for most people? How much crack are you smoking, and can I have some? You've had too much.

How many are going to plan a trip from Someplace, Upnorth for TSL?

It's not about planning a trip. How many planned a trip for Springfield, which is nothing more than the addition of themed quick service, a few bars and a spinner?

It's about adding experiences for everyone. This will help DHS reach that goal as right now the attraction lineup is a bit lopsided.

Does anyone feel that Disney will expand Star Wars Land eventually ala Diagon Alley @ Universal? I definitely think that they will......another E-ticket. Also, will be interesting to see if they build a Star Wars themed hotel next to the Studios. Wouldn't that be something!

If they build a death star hotel, maybe I'd visit the command deck for drinks.

I'd really like to see Disney consolidate some of their rides to one park. Remove Buzz Lightyear and Monsters Inc from Tomorrow Land and move it to DHS with the rest of the Pixar rides for example.

If they did connect the parks like Universal, Star Wars would make the perfect IP for it but I think the parks are far too far apart for something like that.

well star wars is one of those ip,s that somehow fit into all Disney parks and it would be nice if Disney now only connected all parks with monorails but themed them to sw aswell and dont forget there is already a rail from magic to epcot. from epcot hs is i wanna say less then 10miles away so really it would just be animal kingdom that would be kinda hard

My understanding is Star Wars is only for DHS/Disneyland. Other parks have expressed interest in Star Wars but that's mostly a last minute grab for cash. But do we want Star Wars in all the parks? I don't.

I'm so excited/happy with Disney. IMO, Disney is the best when it comes to themeing and creating a vibe within its environments. Thanks to Universal for taking on Harry Potter stuff but I feel like Disney wants to take back their crown. And I feel like they are going to do this with Pandora, Starwars, and Toystory. Disney does it better than anyone, the problem is that they haven't been doing it enough in Florida.

Does anybody know what kinda ride systems will be used for the two rides? I've heard they are using a clone of the Avatar simulator system and a version of the Spiderman vehicles.

A spiderman-esque ride system is rumored... which shouldn't really surprise many seeing as Scott Trowbridge is the lead on this project and he worked on Spidey.

Imagine Spider-man but with AAs and practical effects instead of screens.

Stormtrooper AAs, lots of lasers and sparks, and a lot of that pew-pew shooting sound. Throw in a custom John Williams soundtrack and boom. Star Wars ride.

Both new attractions will be mostly screen-based, making it the third screen-based Star Wars attraction in the park. Cue the meltdowns. :ears:

At the rate Disney moves, there's a good chance John Williams will have kicked the bucket by the time they get this place up and running. Even if not, if this is supposed to open around the same time that Episode IX is released, he might be too busy with that to compose for Star Wars Land.
