I was reading about the Build A Droid new stand in Tattoine Traders and it got me thinking what other build-a character or anything is there in all the Orlando parks?

I think I am going to indulge within my geek side on this trip

So apparently opening weekend was so crowded, that the parking lot filled early and guests were re-routed to Epcot and had to take buses to the Studios.

Not true. This is just the second year with that Hyperspace Hoopla thing. I did not notice her last year.

False. They've been doing Hoopla for years and you probably did notice Padme, only she was wearing her formal, queen's outfit. Either way, it's same girl portraying Padme.

Rumor has it that they are planning a mini Star Wars land in DLP but I doubt that anything like that will come to WDW.

I'm glad Star Wars Weekends have been such a success for them but I can't help at scratch my head at how little they've utilized the Star Wars park rights they have. 24 years it took them to re-do a screen-based motion simular. 24 YEARS. In that same time, we saw Captain EO come, go and come back again. lol If there's any property that should be given its own land, it's Star Wars.

In other news: I was at the parks yesterday and I've found that going on a Tuesday during SWW time is the least crowded you'll ever see DHS. :thumbs:

Does anyone think the crowds will be as bad on Friday, I'm thinking of going. My hope is that Memorial Day guests will come Saturday and since the celebrity list is the same except for Tom Kane, the fans won't rush to the park again. What do all of you think?

It's a SW weekend paired up with Memorial Day weekend. MMDay guests start getting there between today and Friday, so yes, it will be slammed. Get there early is the only advice anyone could give you.
