I hope they're also trying to pin down when we can try again in tandem with an announcement of the delay.

I understand that not everything is as easy as we think it should be, but if they're gonna tell us to be on a certain page at a certain time and people show up.....how would you not be prepared for that? Especially since you've had a few months to anticipate this?

Ever heard that story where this kid back in the late 00's/early 2010's created a FB event to invite his friends for his birthday party and didn't make it a private event so literally a few thousand random people showed up? This is the same vibe I'm getting. At least Universal should've been prepared for this lol

I'd assume DK was always on the list of things that could come to USH but after the demand of Nintendo (hour long popcorn lines, 4 stores themed to Nintendo before the land opens and reaction to movie trailer) it pretty much locked them in. Because they most likely have nothing else as big planned and if Mummy does get cut then at least a new family coaster is replacing it and if it happens to just be somewhere else great.

Well USH is already getting a big roller coaster next year, so it's not like there's nothing planned. And I don't think Mummy is going anywhere for a while. The Lower Lot needs more capacity, not less.

Okay, it's been nearly an hour. Any official word on how long the delay is? I have to leave my place in no later than 20 minutes so the clock is ticking. The second I leave it's going to go online and all the reservations will be full lol

I would think they just pay for queue software this one time like "queue-it" to put us all in line and then slowly drip us into the reservation page like Disneyland does. This is the same software knotts uses for their high demand stuff.

If I had been thinking, I could have created a Discord group with a lot of trusted people and a spreadsheet with rows of the pass number, a preferred and backup date and then we all help each other, including the people here who have work. -_-U

Same thing happened when they were suppose to open reservations during the re-opening period in 2021.

They just are non prepared. Embarrassing .

Two hours in, I’m calling it. I have stuff to do that I’ve put off. Ugh. Like Freak said, I know the moment I leave the house, it’ll open up, but whatever at this point. Fingers crossed, and good luck to everyone if it does indeed open up soon (even if I’m gonna be totally jealous of you if it fills up before I can jump back in and mad at Uni for botching this).
