I really don't mind the entrance. I also didn't mind the original queue either, which I thought was great but apparently reading here turned out it was garbage.

That would never happen. There would be something else in front of the entrance to shade CMs.

So the banner is up, and they're now running cars around the final loop. Having seen it in person, I still hold the opinion that I did seeing the the concept art: It really isn't any worse than it looked before.

Sounds like they're going to make the stretch goal of December. Happy about that. Once it opens I'll be having my crow with Siracha please!

What I see is a place to stand when it rains or is abundantly hot verses no a place to take cover from the elements. Test Track has a large deadzone between it and Mouse Gear. Ugly? Yes, definitely ugly. Practical for Florida weather? Yesh. Ugly? Still yea. Still super ugly.

It looks like each individual gets their own screen for the simcar personalization station. The concept art looks good, but that final picture has me worried...

Wow, that last picture is extremely telling...the inside of the ride itself doesn't seem to be changing all that much, we still are going to have our wonderful "break test".....the main thing changing seems to be the queue line...my expectations for this just dropped DRASTICALLY. :bang:

The above concept with the ride layout shot has me concerned for the people who wanted this change to end up being a ride with no more open warehouse scenes.

Yeah looks the same ride but with more glow! Might as well just drive around a parking lot with glow sticks taped to you car

And now, it's abundantly clear how they will have this open in a month.

It was my worst fear for the ride portion. The queue and post show look nice. Almost classy EPCOT at its sharpest and finest, but the ride from what is pictured is just the same and open as before, yeah, they took the roadside/practical theming of road testing out but really nothing went back in. They just changed the lighting on the rigging and added that screen for what will probably be an effect where a digital version of the car goes along side you to show how the vehicle handles things (probably like the Paint and tire effect scene in the Radiator Springs Racers ride at Disneyland)

A shame that the budget and or focus of this thing seemingly went into the wrong places.

But remember, Disney right now is all about the queue experience as much as the ride experience, they seemingly took the idea of FJ and making a beautiful queue come to fruition, but they forgot that if they don't make the ride worth a squat, then whats the point.

Honestly Test Track is not a BAD ride, but its not a great ride, and I was hoping they could somehow bring it up from what it was before...but oh well, I mean we have the first version of this ride system here, with so much better versions around the world unfortunately..I was just hoping they brought some of that magic here..guess not.

They could of easily built themed frames around the track's interior course to at least add a thrill of not being to see the entire layout you are about to go through or just to enhance the theme in general. Some of the concept art early on seem to infer to that. Guess it is just the same big open area but now we are following the glow trail

It's obvious someone took a pre-existing photo from old Test Track and photoshopped it into concept art. Seriously, all that stuff is gone.
