From Epcyclopedia.com, how Disney plans on handling the void left by a closed Test Track:

The Test Track Allstars travel-themed A Cappella group will be performing daily in the area near the Test Track pavilion.

On a trial basis, Character Spot, Soarin’ and all attractions, merchandise locations and grab-n-go food & beverage offerings in The Land will remain open until 10pm.

It's almost weird to the point of how tense and reluctant Disney seems about closing the attraction down. Or it could always just be greed........

Right, they're scared to death over closing it. They know they need to build more e-tickets to handle the load, but they love their bonuses more.

Indeed! But could they really be any worse than the jarring TT queue "music." And hey, they'll be equity performers getting paid. That should bring them some happiness.

Nope. I think the Journey into Imagination CM(any of them at that attraction still have any other position that they could have right now beat.

Wow. If they've known they were so short on major attractions, they should've started to build another one a LONG time ago.

Yep, but their goal is to make more money with less. That way, they get their bonuses and promotions.

The problem is they've been going with this whole strategy of building more restaurants and "minor attractions" like the KP World Showcase Adventure (Now changing to P&F) and innoventions exhibits to distract from the fact that they haven't built a "real" ride since "Nemo" in 2006 and "O' Canada", SSE and Three Caballeros in 2007. Last time the park was expanded? lol. WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY back in 1989 when Wonders opened...which has since shuttered. So you really have to wonder what Disney's vision is for Epcot at this point besides, well, profit.

So apparently today was the last day to ride Test Track before it's shut down and replaced by an A Capella group......

I REALLY like the fast "race" part of TT, but I'll be SO glad if they re-do the whole inside, queue and first half of the ride. Let's hope for the best and not just the re-branding!

All of these comments are priceless, and some very very funny. Meanwhile, Iger is moving a large tree 15 feet to the tune of $18-$25K (if it is in fact a very large tree).

I actually like the look. I wonder how evident it will be throughout the building.

I need to confess that I have never visited Epcot. With the rehaul of TestTrack I really need to finally go there this fall.

Mousesteps did a little last run POV. They went in just before the ride closed.

I like the new logo. It's cleaner and has a modern look to it. Huge improvement so far. I just hope it opens back up by the time I get down there for my conferences. Epcyclopedia says Nov. 30th, but I hope that's eventually not the case.

I just REALLY want that huge tent thing to go AWAY and be GONE FOREVER. That and the tool shop music. GONE. I want it to be the most sleek and modern design with vague art deco references, like the architecture in Hunger Games (particularly the control room). And if they could actually make the ride have some intimate moments, people would be more attuned to their emotions on the ride. Make me love Test Track, WDI...
